There might have been a small miscommunication. There is a CSM discord comment floating around that they forgot to say that the passive moon mining module will also come to W-Space. But it's still questionable how useful it will be, since the moons are only R4s.

It's gonna come down to fuel cost. The active moon mining array can only pull roughly 4m ISK per hour of extraction from R4s. I'm willing to bet the passive array won't pull more than 50% of that. 2m an hour, on say 20 moons, could be 28B per month. What the content driver might be, is how people get the moon ore to a refinery. If they array's can't react, and you can't tether. Then you might have to go pick it up, like PI, and bring it to a citadel.

if you are talking about the fuel blocks we use now they are not made with moon goo there made with pi and ice but if your talking about the new moon mining thing there i don't know we use the moon goo is used to make T2 and up

New planetary resources seem to have nothing to do with PI and everything to do with being "fuel" for the new sov structure. The haulers are specialized in "reagents" which is this new Planetary resouce and not PI products which are Planetary commodities. The community went wild on a non-existent PI overhaul because the skyhook happened to be constructed over a planet. Case in point for this being a new and separate system from PI is it's a low/null exclusive structure and apparently gas planets don't have any of the new Planetary resources on them to harvest.

hey loru, whats you pi setup like? i was big into it several years back but havent played much. been on and off breaks for several years. i run 72 planets and make p4. back in 2012, i was in provi making mainframes. my p4 planet had the ability to make $25b a month if i could keep it fed. now that the lancer dreads came out and the pi mats dropped, prices dropped a lot. this new expansion seems to be bringing the need for pi back. im debating on joining a null block where the good pi is and support. i might bring a 5th account online if the pi kicks off like i think it will. right now, im all in alpha until i get solid info on this new expansion. waitin on sisi to open so we can sneak a peek. whats you pi like? wheres it at?

@@lorumerthgaming I do see that argument, I just don't agree. I also get that it's the null alliances who bring in the revenue for CCP. But imo, they have enough income. Sure, undock to anchor everything, and to defend, but that's it. Almost set it and forget it. Though, we've not been told all the details, and how often/if the drill or pi needs to be collected and brought to station or market. We'll see in the following months what other info comes out, as well as how it balances out in the months after it's implemented.

​​@@Mika-ph6ku​ Lazerhawk owns most C5 and C6 holes. They rent them. They are also expanding to lower class wormholes evicting smaller corps. It's been like this for years. Cyndi said, "now, it's time for a change". So, wormholers are divided in 2 factions. One supports Cyndi, the other Lazerhawk. Cyndi says that they want to make wormhole space free again so also other/smaller corps can enjoy C5 and C6. Lazerhawk coalition is currently evicting everyone who supports Cyndi coalition and vice versa. So, it is a big big war. Look on ZKill the volume in billion ISKs lost during these early stages.

i hope they ajust the pricing, skinning a upwell structure that is owned by a carebaer corp (like mine) is almost impossible as the players are usually not part of it) i had a bunch of alts selling Ventures to paragon for months to get the EM to put on a skin on my medium structure, but skinning a large structure this way is almost impossible. do you have any details on the EM pricing?
