I'm busy and can't watch the vid right now but moving away from the warp to zero spot to the opposite end of Ice belt and mine from there helps you survive ganks, unless they are cloaked and tackle you. Most gankers jump to the warp to zero spot and look for someone to kill.. there are always miners & whole fleets who just sit on that spot and put out lasers. So the odds are in your favor.

With all my Production and Reprossesing Skills on Level 5 + The Implants and Module I put on my Makinaw I made my ship as efficient as possible I have a 28,3 sec a Circule with Boost without Boost I have 44,3 sec.

Really interesting take on how to make a video. High tempo but doesn't feel wierd like most fast youtube vids does nowdays. Superb background music. Condensed and informative. Even if I don't agree to everything you said. for example I'm rocking warriors in my hulks and a target painter on one of them that I make the drone bunny. Althou, if one does have rat clearing ship on grid there's no reason not to run ice drones, so I guess it depends. First time I see you and I'll definitely check in more of your content. Thank you.

Pedantic point, but interesting when we think on a min./max. level when it comes to ice mining, for a 100 piece ice asteroid, with T2 ice miners, which have a 0.34 residue probability , you are getting approx. 74 pieces of ice with 26 lost (75 * 0.34 + 75 = 100.5).

Bling my ship loru - swingfish agree with everything, but one a more practical approach, i would prioritize the endurance, as its just as fast as a covetor, (due to much more agile movement) strap the ore Miners on it, plus the speed, if you pingpong to a structure to offload, the endurance racks in almost double (as it travels much much faster) regarding tax. paying a 2% tax is going to be much cheaper than paying for Heavy Water to power the orca's compressor (unless you mine solo and just start the Core &compressor once the orca's cargo is full) not paying for somethings, doesn't mean it's free ;)

So amusing to hear someone talk about shield tanking a Hulk! The only mining ships worth tanking are Procurers and Skiffs! You can get 100,000 or more EHP with them! My Skiff is currently a bit over 93,000 EHP. The Skiff also allows you to bring extra drones. It has 100 drone space. This means you can carry 1 Ice Drone and 5 medium Combat Drones. I can mine Ice until rats show up and then I can quickly recall that drone and launch my 5 combat drones to deal with the rats. Then I swap back to my Ice Drone.

@@lorumerthgaming Me too. Truth be told, I'm too afraid to use anything else. The more EHP the better. Making extra trips to offload just gives me something to do when mining. I have 2 skiffs fitted and ready to fly: One is called North Wind (for ice) and the other is called South Wind (for ore). I also have my old Procurer and a Retriever that I've never flown. Someday, I'll have the skills for a combat ship. I only have a Navy Catalyst fitted and ready to fly at the moment. It can do L2 missions if I'm very careful.
