Hi Ben, very cool the info you are giving out as most would not be so kind and selfish and contain it for themselves. I am in big time need of some talent for my startup, where I am building a fabric shaver that rids hair off of clothing, furniture. Mainky the sort of team I need to build is people who you would hire before you actually hire "employees," or co-founders, or the DM's that will help me propagate the company forward and get equity or a chance to get equity. Would you be able to help with this ? if interested, please lmk. The only reason I am going all out with forming a team of sharks is b/c I truly want a really good product as innovation in cleaning in general over the last 6 to 7 decades is absent. Take care Bonafide-

Yes of course there are always exceptions to the rule, and very unique situations that are niche you will need to probably get on the phone and directly call around to identify individuals that’s a different ball game when you are speaking about something super super specific

Is this easy to do with a few hours of day work? And can I turn it into something making a million a year?
@BenNader5 жыл бұрын
Hi, so I wouldn't categorize this as any sort of "get rich quick". That's not what starting a recruiting agency is at all. This isn't a lotto type of business where you just set some things up and boom its just cash flowing non stop. It's real work, it is not something you can do in just a few hours in a day unless you only want minimal results and want to keep your 9-5 job. I will say that if you start out with a few hours a day, while working your 9-5, you can work your way out of the 9-5 within months, and get to six figures annually, and from there scale up to a million, but you would need to do very very high volume placements and probably charge higher fees, 15%+ per placement. There's many layers to this, again I'd subscribe and watch the entirety of the videos to get a better grip on what recruiting looks like as a business to understand it. I think a lot of people are looking for the "what will make me a million dollars in a year" thing. Look, a lot of things can make you a million dollars a year, but most people won't put in the level of work to hit a million dollars in a year, if that makes sense.

Ben - what tool do you use to track all the emails you sent ? Im wondering how to keep track since I'm pounding out 75 per day and want to be organized.
@BenNader5 жыл бұрын
Great question- I personally have a pretty unique/custom to me system, where I use mail chimp as a tool to do email blasts and what not, and keep lists together, but I also just pound out emails ad hock through Gmail, and then collect the addresses I've sent to that day, and add them to a list in mail chimp to run a secondary sequence blast a 5 days or a week later, and continue on that type of pattern. I don't have a highly oiled sequence or anything setup because the way I target, I only want to reblast certain email contacts, others like a CEO or someone I'm LinkedIn conversing with I'll withhold for a slower cadence as to not SMASH them to pieces with blasts, so it's kind of mail chimp blasts with some personal touch one by one's as well. I think I may change to a different system though as I'm sick of mail chimp there are things I don't like about it, but it's relatively cheap and FREE for a low count list, I think 1,000 contacts on the list or around there is free, which isn't bad eh.
@BenNader5 жыл бұрын
FYI- Ping me on LinkedIn, would love to chat about what your setup is and compare etc. If you aren't in the facebook group that's in every video description, go ahead and join and ping me there too.

Do you ever go for multiple contacts and email multiple people at company at same time ??
@BenNader5 жыл бұрын
Yep, have definitely done this in a few scenarios. I usually try to go for the jugular and get the main decision maker right away just to get a conversation and a decision ASAP. If that person is unresponsive, I'll go to someone else that appears to be a decision maker and try them out. Sometimes I'll just connect simultaneously with multiple decision makers at the same company to get some maximum exposure and they maybe talk to each other about the contact they got from me, and this breeds some conversation to drive them to connect back with me. So the answer is yes.
@BurningDesire_letsgo3 жыл бұрын
@@BenNader So reaching out to most likely decision maker 1st and if nice enough to connect you down the chain line to the right department head. Normally coming from the owner they are more likely to return calls or emails. Great idea and thank you for that. Out of curiosity, what’s the best way to find if you have a certain amount of employees you want to search for like, 400-600 EES? Thank you
@Cocolovedoodles5 жыл бұрын
Would you look up the company size and if they have a recruiting team before you reach out to them?
@BenNader5 жыл бұрын
Yes, absolutely would look up company size, I need to know what kind of capacity they have, monetarily (to pay for recruiting) and also as you mentioned, I would scope out their company profile on LinkedIn and look at the employees that work there to see if there are recruiters and if so how many etc, to get a read on what that looks like. If they've recruiters it doesn't necessarily mean at all they won't sign a deal with you to do search, it just is something to know in the back pocket. Still, ultimately as I've preached in other videos, you'll want to try to target higher level individuals, not the recruiters or the H.R person, those are people that are trained to say "no" to anyone approaching them about recruiting. FYI. Always go in for the director, a CTO, a senior manager etc etc.
@Cocolovedoodles5 жыл бұрын
Ben Nader You got it! I was actually reaching out to HR but to get no response or a no. I’m still learning.
@BenNader5 жыл бұрын
Yup, nobody knows until someone tells them right? H.R and a lot of recruiters specifically are just a "no trap". To make it even more logical, think about it. It's their job to find the talent. For them to bring you in the fold, they need to literally bring you in and pitch you as a budget item......for something they're...already getting a salary for.....? Makes no sense right? There are plenty of exceptions and in tons of cases H.R manages the staffing vendors (us), but on first approach, they're not the best, and they'll close that gate like a nasty troll.
