I like your channel. I like the idea of an additional revenue stream first your business. A couple other things I would add #1 high efficiency gas will have a flue pipe, but it's not going to be shiney metal and may or may not go out the roof. #2 for heat pump vs AC, ask if their outdoor unit runs when they're heating the house. I pay a gas bill, and have an inverter driven heat pump, because it's cheaper than gas/propane in my area ("greener" too).

What do you think about replacing a gas system with a heat pump? I live NC. Summers are pretty hot. Winters are short and mild.

Look I moved into a house and am renting. How do I know what the Trane model number means to adjust my Honeywell t4 stupid thermostat? It's like a freaking Enigma code to decipher it.

For heating I use electric. I have 41 solar panels where each generates 400 watts each. I have 93% sun with no trees nearby. I get 14 hours of sun and have a Tesla battery. During the daytime the power company pays me, during night time I use the battery. My house also have backup heating board in every room in case the main heating system fails. There is no gas line to the house. I charge my Tesla car. Life is good.

So i live in NC and woke up to my house cold and it is below freezing today. Anyways i have airtemp ac unit but i was curious if it blows heat into my house. I have propane that heats my water and stove which is working but i am ignorant about this stuff. But i noticed the fan isnt spinning so what is the most common issue? I didnt have time.to look at it today.

Hello, all central AC systems should be able to both heat and cool your home, but if the indoor unit is not turning on, there could be a number of reasons as to why, but I suggest you start with the breaker. A lot of times in this situation, your breaker has tripped so I recommend checking that out, sometimes it's as easy as switching it back on! Hope this helps, stay warm!

Trane has changed model numbers on January 1st, 2023. Model XR16 is now XR15 with 1 cooling stage. And formally XR17 has 2 stages is now called XR16. As a consumer, how do you know which XR16 the contractor is actually installing?

My Trane model# is 4TEE3C04A1000AAA I have no clue how to find out what it has or does not have and how to adjust my Honeywell thermostat. Why the ***k is this so hard to label??

I have a Carrier Infinity heat pump, but my thermostat has no setting that says emergency heat! It's a 2.5 ton. Installed in 2007. I do have a heat strip in my air handler. It doesn't look like you read comments as you don't respond or even acknowledge them!
