Wow. It's scary to think of all the nuggets in acting you miss out on if you don't get training! Thank you so much, especially for this one. I can't wait to start practicing! Especially thanks for THIS video, as I believe it's exactly what I need right now. I tend to overthink when I'm acting for my coach, and she wanted to me to work on it becoming more natural, I really believe these tips will help. God bless!

Hi! New to the channel! I’ve been thinking about doing acting for awhile now. Every time I watch a good movie or show I always visualize myself being in one hahah, I did took some acting classes at my community college and I did took a script analysis class too! So I know a little bit about it, I’m still a beginner but I just stop trying, I guess I lost motivation to keep going. But I really want to practice more. And your channel is really helping me restore that motivation to keep going and actually take classes. I really want to find a career for myself, I’m 28 and sometimes I feel like it’s too late, but I realized it’s never too late to anything.

Yo couple questions! 1. I like the soft colored backlight you use in your videos. The soft green sometime purples. Do you recommend that as a decent idea for self tapes pending the mood of the scene? 2. For self tapes would you recommend a Lavalier mic to boost audio quality of your scenes so you don’t sound so far away from camera?

Hi again! Great, educational video, as always, what else to say. I wanted to share something that I do and I don't know if it can help or do some damage. Basicaly, once in a while I have an all nighter where I pop on my headphones and play a playlist and use song lyrics as lines and just music as the direction of an emotion. So on the spot I come up with the story that goes with the song (I try to change it every next time). Songs go from one to another with like 5s break between, so I have to shift whole emotional state in 5 seconds. And they usually go happy-sad-happy (or uplifting-down-uploft). And I do that the whole night whitch is mostly 4h (from mightnight or 1am to 5am). There is no mirror, no camera, no light, so just me being dramatic in rhe room. I don't know does it benefit something or can it be damaging (as the mirror does)? P.S. Some of my favourite song are the type like "Somebody that I used to know", "In This Shirt", any song from MARINA, "Flesh and Bone"(Black Math), Alan Walker's songs, etc. In case someone is intrested.

That's a great start! Your next steps should be looking into college/university/drama school courses. Find a course that seems to really resonate with you and perhaps also think about what path you maybe want to follow. Can you see yourself performing in plays or are you more interested in film/tv acting. ☺

Hey! I have a question can you become an actor even though you have scars?
@aspitube25152 жыл бұрын
Usually they're very selective, but if you're lucky you can get a cool role, look at western movies for example
@CamerenJackson2 жыл бұрын
Absolutely, just take the right photo for your headshot of the look of the character you will be able to play. For instance, someone with noticeable scars could play the bad guy, victim, or cool guy just make sure you are wearing the clothes of the type of character you are trying to play so it's easier for agents to get you roles, therefore more bookings and work. It's nothing personal, they just want to know how to market you. Also, there is makeup that can cover some scars. For instance, Ulta has tattoo cover up concealer that I use on my scars. I hope this was helpful.🙂
