One of the most versatile lures on the market. They'll catch nearly as many fish just drifting and letting them bounce on the bottom, as they will being cast to structure. Not many things which won't hit the Zman Grubz.... I'm glad to see someone else using those Nail Bomb jigheads. I wish they were more readily available here.

Hey mate, when you use the Grubz can you use lure clips or is it best to tie them?
@fishonbaby2 жыл бұрын
Hi mate you can use a small clip but I prefer just to tie straight to the jig head. Some people use a loop knot but I just use a uni knot.
@Daniel-xc8nf2 жыл бұрын
@@fishonbaby yeh see that's what I normally do but I've tried the loop knot takes too long imo lol. Also found out for months I've been fishing the Grubz wrong couldn't work it out, but everytime I twitched then reeled in I was reeling in too much slack, I was getting confused thinking one why is my lure by my yak so quickly and two if I'm winding in so much my lure isn't able to get back onto the bottom, so it's just twitching from the bottom and then I'm only allowing the plastic to drop mid water colomn, wondered why I kept catching the salmon and not the bream/flatty lol

Lol classic, best of luck bud, keep at it

What size jighead mate for the grubs?
@fishonbaby3 жыл бұрын
Depends on the depth and current. I go size 1 or 2 hook with a weight between 1/20-1/6th of ounce.
