Thanks for the tips! 1. ACV cramps my stomach. I've tried to dilute it and everything. However, I can do balsamic with no problem. 2. Added 5000 steps to my day. Now I just need to get up after each meal and walk 10 mins. 3. Just started front loading protein in a.m. I'm not hungry by lunch time. Very satiated. 4. Slow weighted workouts is a game changer! I was burning myself totally out with HIIT. For past 2 days, I have been slowing down my movements and it has made a big difference plus I'm not zapped; actually more energized.

Balsamic is the only type of vinegar that's not typically recommended for helping with blood sugar levels. You can try other types

You’re content literally saved my life. My PCOS went misdiagnosed for almost 2 years. My doctor told me that I have hormone imbalance due to a tumor on my pituitary glad. While my symptoms were consistent with PCOS, she failed to diagnose me correctly and prescribed acne medication and 1200 cal diet. After one year of calorie counting and killing myself at the gym, I just gave up. Consulted another doctor for painful and irregular period and he then diagnosed me with PCOS. But as usual, I was told the only way to manage PCOS is birth control and metformin. Watching your content, I tried going dairy free and it helped me so much with my symptoms. Goong gluten free is difficult but baby steps. Slowly changing my lifestyle to manage my symtoms. Thank you so much for everything you both are doing. God bless you both ❤️

I am still struggling to put myself back to a regular routine. Due to stress I start eating incorrect food, incorrect quantity & at incorrect times, which are the big reasons for the severity of my PCOS. Thanks for this motivation though, the visualisation acted like a meditation to me. I would like to share some of my experiences which I followed for a couple of months: 1. I introduce apple cider Vinegar + half lemon + hot water first thing in the morning. 2. Black coffee+ half lemon + hot water in the evening. 3. Cut down completely on sugar + have good home made meals the entire day ( never to starve or skip meals ) + 4 litres of water in a day + eating & drinking light after sunset. 4. 15 min slow zumba + 15 minutes pcos related slow beginner yoga ( including the breaks in between) This had helped me a lot, my periods cycle of 20 days long reduced to 5 days, with less cramps. I had significant loss of inches + reduction in hairfall + complete face fat loss + I felt a lot energetic the entire day. Posting this message here with an intention to help at least 1 sister who is struggling to fight with pcos like me. Good Luck girls😊

This definitely helps to see things differently. I got diagnosed few months back at 35. Trying to lose weight but I struggle most with the belly area. I was put on metformin but after reading the affects it can have on the body I chose not to take them. I'm also taking progesterone contraceptives to help regulate/control my irregular periods.This is a bit stressful on me mentally because I'm 36 now and want to try for a baby, but being overweight,with pcos, iron, and vitamin d deficiencies makes me lose all hope at times😢
@Rockerlady Жыл бұрын
Do whatever you can to lose weight so you can have a baby soon. I was on pills for years for the same reasons. I have to admit it was a sex drive killer. I know not everyone has this problem on bc pills. If you are experiencing this, tell your doctor and get off the pills. Yes, Metformin sucks. Find out if you are estrogen dominant. I am now 50 years old, overweight and never had a child. Please act fast so you don't end up like me and do what is best for you.

Your videos are tremendously helpful Tallene! I just started working almost exclusively with women with PCOS as a dietitian - and I’m learning so much every day! I originally got into women’s health after suspecting I had PCOS myself. I never officially got a diagnosis- but after going off birth control I had all the signs of high androgens and a very irregular cycle. So thankful to see there’s more research on this topic nowadays so women can really get the help & healing they deserve! 💙

I unintentionally did this habit stocking without trying or knowing about it. I started with the 30 g of protein in the morning, then I added in the supplements a week later, now I am doing water and the 10 minute walks after meals although it is not always a walk sometimes it is just walking up and down the steps in my house, and the ACV..... next week I am going to introduce slow weighted workouts..... It really does feel more manageable because I am starting with what has been the easiest to incorporate and then stacking I didn't even know this was a thing

It is getting hard for me to lose the belly fat. However, I used to have protein in the morning and did strength training, but then I had to leave doing strength training because of study pressure. I would say that I felt better before. However, because I used to eat less(an attempt to cut down calories), I used to feel hungry in the evening and then would crave for my favourite food. But now I've been eating adequately so those cravings have gotten less. And, I have started strength training again. This time I'll be focusing more on slow weighted workouts. Also, would be incorporating the other two points into my life.
