Prince Leonard was an amazing man and very smart. He was a funny bloke to talk to. I meet him quite a few time. And the province is recognized as a country by quite a few countries around the world. There is also a photo there were you got your stubbie cooler from of the foreign minister of the province standing next to the Australian foreign minister at a photo event with the queen when they were having one of those conferences were they talk about world matters.

Great stuff as usual. I don't think I would ever be brave enough to be putting out cray pots at that time of day. Is brave the right word? :) We spent some time up at Hutt River a few years back and were privileged to meet Len and Shirley. Quite a unique protest and I believe there were some countries that did recognise passports from Hutt River. I believe Len used to travel in and out of Australia on one with no trouble. A bit childish of the Australian government to go chasing them for money after all this time but I always thought once Len and Shirley were gone, the gloves would come off.
