lol, wife has steered clear of ours since we got one during the toilet paper shortage due to Covid. I suggested she use it when she was taking the prep for her colonoscopy. Now she loves it 😂

It takes a major effort for some to start using it, then once they've gotten over their initial skepticism or "weirdness" of a bidet, they love it. It's so much cleaner and I really like the heated seat and water flow when it's cold outside.

I have a Brondell heated toilet seat and it is the best money I ever spent. I've had it for several years and it keeps my tush warm no matter what the weather is outside. I'm now looking at a toto bidet and the deal killer would be a cold seat. LOL Has that remote fallen into the toilet during those four years?

The remote hasn't been off the wall except when my young kids check it out. Thankfully the remote has never taken a dive into the porcelain pool! For me, I just mounted it on the wall and leave it there--reach over, push the button, and never need to be a neanderthal ever again...except when I travel. And that's sad.

i've been wanting one of these for years! My family swears tp is better in every way and that bidets are nasty etc etc. So im just going to buy it anyway lol they don't gotta use it. Not sure why people have their heels so far in the ground about trying something objectively cleaner than any tp or wet wipe can do

Can someone invent an automatic toilet paper over/under sensor? You know, it senses whether you like the toilet paper roll to go over or under and adjusts it...depending on where you reach for...would go a ways towards family harmony...like an automatic toilet seat put-it-up or put-it-downer for the gender differences. Such simple concepts, and yet....

I'm considering getting this JX model. It does not appear to have a memory or person 1/2 feature...is that correct? Minimally, does it remember the last setting you had it at last time? Thanks.

The older one does not have memory settings for two people, just the settings you have dialed in. It does keep the settings as they were last time.

Seat/lid slow close still work? The one we bought has had issues with the hinge (Bio Bidet)

We never had an issue with the seat in either one of our Alpha Bidet seats. I think I have 3 videos about bidets--this video, the one from 4 years prior when I installed it, and then another from an updated Alpha Bidet that would have been recorded at about the same time as this video. Both seats still work great, and I'm absolutely convinced this bidet is a crucial piece of medical hardware from people recovering from any sort of surgery in their hands, arm, shoulder, or back to avoid twisting to wipe.

I am wondering, why don't you mention that these back-to-front jet bidets splash (or not?) water mingled with poop towards the urethra?

I'm certainly not a urethra specialist, but the water jet shoots up, not out. The pooper shooter goes up to rinse the booty, and I don't feel any moisture or "debris" on my non-urethra sack, if you know what I'm saying. The Alpha Bidet crew definitely cares for everyone, and their business wouldn't last long if their products caused infection. They've been in business for quite some time, so the upwards shooting seems to be doing the cleaning trick without cross contamination issues. Good question!
