Wow it seems as if four year went quickly and your hair is beautiful !. I start two years ago in October with two and a half to three inches of hair , my hair is now where you were at three years . I use to say my hair grows slow but my locticion say it grows faster .

Had to re-upload because the footage was glitchy in some parts. (thank you to the person who commented). It was perfectly fine on my laptop so not sure what happened, but enjoy!

Your locs look beautiful! It's nice that you aren't so worried about retaining length that you don't mind trimming them to get the look you want. Eventually, I'm sure I'll have to repair holes in my locs the way you showed.

I am not sure and you may have done a video about it. Do you have a wash and maintenance video for a first time 61 year old starting over again with my loc journey. After using the Mielle rosemary and mint oil for the first time, 🥲and had so much damage. I am trying to repair my grey beautiful hair since a young girl again naturally. Your journey is so beautiful and so are you. Thank you one of the most pleasant and beautiful video I have found. You have a beautiful spirit. May The Most High continue to bless you and your journey. ❤

Congrats!!! Your locs are so beautiful! I'm 2 months into my loc journey. Started with two strand twists and I'm doing my self retie (interlocking) as we speak. I have bunching on my loose textured hair, but honestly I've decided to just let it be and see how my 309 locs develop with little interference/ not worrying about the aesthetics. I also stopped braiding and banding after 1 month. I felt like it was hindering me from cleansing my scalp really well (I have a scalp condition, so I have to wash my locs often). My goal is to have a healthy scalp/ hair and low maintenance, so I'm just letting them do what they want to do 😂. Just wanted to share in the case someone else was experiencing similar things. Every loc journey is beautiful ❤️

Congrats on 4 years 🎉 locs look great. Regards holes it is easier to fix them by closing up holes with interlock tool. Why do you choose to comb loc out? Thanks

Thank you! I tried using the interlocking tool but it wasn’t working for me loll

Hi I just got two strand twist with interlocking at the root. My hair is really curly so shrinkage is a lot right now. I was wondering should I stretch my hair as I braid and band or just try to braid it without stretching them? It’s super short and it’s hard to braid and band with pulling them to get a braid in
