I remember binge watching you do your hair in your room when I started my locs. I couldn’t wait for them to grow to try the styles you did. 😁

I’m 40 and am tickled by how the claw clip ponytails came back. We were rocking claw clip ponytails and lazy up dos in the 90’s…

Usually I scroll past 'combing out locs' videos, but that was interesting about that girls color damage.

I have tried a claw clip but I have to be careful with the placement because it feels like it is tugging my hair sometimes. You got me wanting to see if i can try it against with better results.

I loved all the loc styles.. the loc extension topic is not that serious imo, some ppl like myself want to start off with the extensions and cut them off later. But I do agree that ppl should be honest about it.

Yes.. I am 8 years loc'd and I did hella research and found you and your first set of beautiful, black locs. I found out how many you had and used your images as my guide to install mine using palm roll. I was sad when you had to cut yours, but i was there for your college journey of dying them. They did look amazing blonde, but I watched the damage and it hurt my heart. But, I knew you had to do what you had to do. I am considering a second set of tiny micro-locs- I have about 220 locs now. I would like 400 locs...We will see.

i couldn't understand why someone would pretend that they grew their locs to that lenght if they just installed extensions.

I don’t really comment on videos but this topic really irritates me I have no problem with people with loc extensions beacuse I also have extensions with my traditional locs and I am always honestly and transparent. But my problem is people don’t respect our decision and say that our hair is not “ours” because of our extensions. And that needs to stop IMMEDIATELY 😊

Your hair is beautiful. When I want to color my locks I used B Wild/Punky hair color in a can, Manic Panic also in a can and or hair color wax. I’ve tried them all. They don’t damage your hair at all and wash out instantly. The only thing is, if you have long Loc’s like I do the color tends to get on your clothing some. If you keep the color in over night just tie your hair up.

I used to crave the tiny tiny sister locs. I went for microlocs and I'm satisfied with the thickness..I only have about 400 locs but I didn't want too many because at some point I want to maintain them myself.

I really appreciated your video on the history of locs. I'm so discouraged by all the people hating on non-blacks for having loks. Instead of all the negativity on social media, you're about spreading the love. Your approach and personality are so wonderful. Keep up the good work!

Here's how I feel so I've had locs before I grew them out. I'm going to get locs again but I'm going to get it locs extensions And I agree with her. If you get locs extensions don't act like you put in that work to grow it out. Unless you got locs extensions on top of your locs and then took them out when they grew a certain length. That's different but to go through the struggle of growing it out. It's definitely a journey and to act like you've went through it. It's kind of an insult to people have actually went through it

My beautiful little Sister what a interesting video, yes bleaching, and dying the hair is really bad for the hair ,but worse for the blood. The medical examiner can tell every type we colored our hair or permed it. The chemicals can cause cancer as they bypass the bone where the blood is made .your super beautiful as Jesus has made you a,princess in purification processes as all your followers. ❤
