He might still have it, barely got any PT for the Pelicans other than one season where he was subbing in for Eric jail body Bledsoe. And he looked like a smart player you could trust with the ball. Then he got pushed out the lineup by Devonte Graham and Jose Alverado. But he still showed some good traits in New Orleans. Hes a smart trustworthy player, not a chucker

That’s true but he wasn’t that good before the injury, even when getting minutes. He was inefficient, not a effective playmaker, below avg defender. His spot got took because when others got a chance to play in his spot they were simply better

How is Hayes a wing? Maybe I’m just lost but I thought neither his handle or shooting was that good to justify him being called a wing. Basically play your role

Well your comment makes no sense outside of Lauri! But even with him the Bulls are notorious for not developing drafted talent but the other two guys you mentioned make absolutely zero sense! Dennis Smith Je was a lottery pick who was supposed to be a superstar he is now a mid level roll player averaging 7 ppg! And Wiggins was a high draft pick who averaged 17 ppg as a rookie and never regressed his whole career until this year!! So what the living hell would you mention him for? When was the league ready to give up on Wiggins? And when in the hell did Dennis smith jr bounce back and prove anyone wrong! May be the most ridiculous comment to back up an argument ever

Hot take but I actually think Killian Hayes can still be a good NBA player. He's a great playmaker and good defender, just an awful scorer. I think that if a team (other than the ones that are known for shaky development) picked him up and helped him become even a slightly below average scorer, he'd be very valuable to a NBA team

Yeah, one of his biggest problems on the pistons was the lack of other scorers when he was on the court. Despite starting a lot, he was often running with the bench unit. There were no quality scorers with him on the court, so with him being the main ball-handler he had to take some of the scoring load. If he can find a team that has him surrounded by scorers and shooters off the bench, he could still be an important piece with his passing. I doubt his time in the NBA is done.

Hayes over Haliburton, Maxey or Bane is crazy. His main contribution this year was taking minutes away from Jaden Ivey. His credit in the league must be 0 if Detroit had to cut him. Like nobody offered even a 2nd round pick for him. Haven't been called off waivers or signed by the minimum.

I don't think Hayes would succeed even on the Nuggets or Celtics if these gave him a chance... he's completely selfish, has an attitude problem with NO skills to back it up, has AWFUL bball IQ, and probably doesn't even love the SPORT of basketball but rather what it gave him. Good riddance.

I do think the Timberwolves are the best team in the league not just cause I’m a Timberwolves fan but I think we’re contender if we don’t lose 10 point leads anymore

These players sound like some Nuggets players I saw in the early 2000s before Melo. The NBA drafts so many raw players dreaming of stardom one day but few even have a solid career!

I know he's only a rookie, but we might have to throw Scoot Henderson on the list, guy's been arguably the single worst player in the league this year.

All these players are better than Jake LaRavia. Folks claim he can shoot it, but he's shown no evidence of that on the pro level. Just a "shooter" that can't shoot.

Hayes and bouknight I think can still be 6-9 man on the roster type players. Both of them were drafted into horrible situations. Pistons and hornets are some of the worst for developing players. I would like to see the Toronto raptors pick up Hayes and see if we can’t develope him into a bench player

Knew boughknight was trash right from the start. Should have drafted Gelo just for shits and giggles.

Killian Hayes is only 22 years old. PIstons obviously does not know how to develop talent. Just look at how they have done with their previous and current ones. Killian needs to be in a team or league where he can grow better. He's not gonna be a superstar but there's hope for him

If I’m the C’s I bring in Pokusevski next year and let him learn under KP and Al it wouldn’t cost much and with the cap space he’s be a the cheap option that could turn to gold

@@amierulasyraf3956y if you look at their cap space next yr Browns max kicks in as well as KP then Tatums gets his max plus Jrue and White are up for new deals so bring in a bottom on bench guy who could have up side more than Kornet who would 3-4m more then this kid it’s a good move Let’s here your logic
