Bouknight struggled at the end of his UCONN career. He shot poorly from the middle of the season, all the way into the tournament. He should have stayed, I was surprised when he went as high as he did. I feel the same about Stephon Castle, he will be a lottery pick but he really needs another year or maybe even 2 at UCONN

I think that if a team (other than the ones that are known for shaky development) picked him up and helped him become even a slightly below average scorer, he'd be very valuable to a NBA team

Yeah, one of his biggest problems on the pistons was the lack of other scorers when he was on the court. Despite starting a lot, he was often running with the bench unit. There were no quality scorers with him on the court, so with him being the main ball-handler he had to take some of the scoring load. If he can find a team that has him surrounded by scorers and shooters off the bench, he could still be an important piece with his passing. I doubt his time in the NBA is done.

Never give up on a player as a fan. Sometimes teams cant wait and failed to develop them properly. Numerous things can effect a young players growth. Detroit can't even teach any of the talented guys they have drafted to play at their floor. So any young Detroit player should not be on this list. The organization is a wreck.
