$40 Ebay LS Swap harness for a $65 sloppy stage 2 cam, can it get any cheaper? Or will it even work?

I bought a 99 astro this week with a fresh rebuilt 5.3 / 4l60e combo . I'm going to install it into my 48 oldsmobile . Received my ebay harness yesterday.

Where the tach wire is sometimes attached to the aldl port, would that be a good location to install a pullup resistor?

bought on off ebay comes with no under dash diagram and manufacturer has no clue what i am asking for. do you have a video where it shows witch wire is what?

Here is a link to a video I just did a few weeks ago, it is a different brand harness but most of the under dash should be the same. Wires you are not sure of you will need to trace back to the PCM. Woo please help Me out before i go crazy. I got 2011 suburban flexfuel 5.3 with 6L80 That i just pull out with computer,fuse box and original stock harness. What harness do you recommend me to use that works for all my original transmission plug hope cheap and plug and play? Can be easy for me to use the same cluster? Or i don’t have any proble to get some aftermarket gauges

You got a link or part number for a good harness for 2001 lm7 ? Have one going into a 72 c10 with manual trans.

All of the ebay or Amazon DBC harnesses will work, but none have been plug and play. Have to check every circuit on them including verifying no signal wires are tied to ground or 12v power. I just posted a video of this repaired $40 harness being used to start a 5.3 on an engine stand.

Awesome job on your harness videos. I need some help on setting up a harness on a carbureted lm7 with a manual transmission .If you have info on programming the pcm for it that would be great. I really need to know what wires I need. Thanks. Can we communicate through email?

A carbed engine with a manual trans should be able to get rid of the wiring for the transmission, MAF sensor, MAP sensor, IAT sensor, knock sensors, injectors, possibly more. I have not done it yet but will be doing one soon, I have a 5.3 here on a stand that I am going to put a carb on it and use the factory PCM. Once I go through it I will have an idea of what is needed.
