For tip 10, i would suggest instead of taking level 78 armor, just search for the named set, you can find them by narrowing your search with stats and armor type, these armors tend to be far cheaper than their literal stat named versions. For example light berserkers: instead of buying Berserkers seer, buy the Zhed set, thats a full level 80 exotic berserker set for 3.2g Light = Zhed Medium = Nika Heavy = Devona

Tip #32, Can also do this (faster) by going to Obsidian Sanctum and turning around. It loads you in the fort marriner section of Lions Arch.

Numbers 11, 16* and 18 were totally new to me. I also didn't know about the blue LFG player icon. I strongly feel that the game / Anet could do a better job of explaining defiance bars (#26) to players. * up until now I would sometimes just have "said" the waypoint names and hoped nobody would "hear" them.

Good tips, thank you very much. I am strugging big time with getting gold. A lot of the videos I've seen on the topic use methods that are way beyond where I am at both level wise and knowledge wise. Any insight on how to make decent gold as a new player?

Map completion and dailies are a good way, you won't be making bank but it builds up over time. Right now, the mad king's labyrinth is also a good method but I hate farming like that. There's also PvP if you are into that, you get alot of rare gold quickly. Buy what you need not what you want (something I struggle with). If you play the game normally you should be people to get a few gold here and there but the best gold farms are in LV 80 areas

You missed the most important tip, The action camera and how to bind it for ease of use.

While I understand that some folks are limited with conditions like RSI or motor impairment, I actually don't recommend action camera for the average player ^^; I do a lot of end-game content in GW2, and from personal experience, a lot of players that learned the game using action camera ended up regretting it. They actually spent the time to relearn with mouse drag camera because it allows you to ground target skills more effectively, which is very helpful with doing certain raid boss mechanics or playing high intensity classes with difficult damage rotations. But at the end of the day, I always encourage players to play in the way that will keep them enjoying Tyria the longest :)

Well as a new player action camera is far more engaging and fun rather than click dragging threw action, maybe later when new players learn the game mechanics they can switch where appropriate which was my point the ability to bind a key and switch at any moment would be a huge tip for any new player.

@@troyrarehale2517 It's always good to know the different shortcuts, but I'm afraid we'll have to respectfully disagree on action camera matters ^^; Whether it's more fun or engaging than normal aim and click is very subjective. However, for myself, I will refrain from recommending it due to my experiences training new players in end game content.

How do you explain #32 but not mention that you can teleport to the asura gate waypoint for free?

because every day is leg day in a honesty though, i experimented with it, but the expanding map/small cursor/loading felt harder to follow along visually. instead i opted for the scenic route since it gives the viewers time to digest the audio info. plus, im sure all players eventually get sick of running so waypoints become the defacto regardless of me mentioning it :)
