40 HOGS DOWN! - Thermal Hunt w/ Alabama Hog Control

Taking down 40 invasive wild hogs in Wilcox County, Alabama with the help of Alabama Hog Control's Barry Estes! We would like to thank him for providing us with the footage for the video.

OUR MISSION:
We work to beat back the invasion of feral pigs into southern Alabama. These invasive creatures destroy the land, eat crops, and endanger the survival of native species. While our method may never fully eradicate the population of wild hogs in the area, it can prevent further increase of populations and thus reduce the negative effects caused by them.

Multiple shots on multiple hogs with the 6.5 Grendal and can't help but notice alot of failures to stop on the first shot. The .308 gets honors for being the BEST one shot stopper.

I'd love to know what gear, gun and scope....I guess semi auto shotguns on full choke still won't cut the mustard except at very close range pursuit (atv or helo). would like to see someone use 2 or 3 barrel (5.56) AR's like the israeli "gilboa snake"

I'm just guessing probably using full metal jackets and not using soft point or hollow points . Head shots will bring any pig down with FMJ but body shots on pigs it's makes them run and die else where . Still a good videos seen the head shots. Thanks for sharing

When you have multiple hogs sited, go for the harder shot first.. then pluck off the easy ones .. Seems like you are doing the reverse, and a lot get away in the distance

Very true. Just more cost effective to use the Grendel. Shot placement is key and we often have clients that are not as skilled as us regulars.
