U have no idea how much the little things mean to some people. I’m disabled and can barely walk. Ever since my garbage men found out about my condition they’ve been walking my garbage cans to the truck n back up my driveway. They’ve been doing it now for over 6 years. I never asked them to do it, nor do they do it for anyone else on my block. Last year an investment i made when i was healthy paid off and i gave each garbage man a 500 tip for helping me all these years

Your appreciation means a lot to them. My step dad was a trash man for over 25 years. When he passed away many of his customers came to his funeral. I was touched how much they loved and respected him. One of his customers sent my mom flowers after the funeral. She had to wait for her check to come in, that's why she didn't send them to the funeral home. I cried when I found out.

I was a Cop for 10 years and I have seen hundreds of times where big burley guys in uniform turn into "big brothers" for a minute or two, from sequing cats to helping people in wheelchairs to carrying parcels and treating total strangers children as their own, even giving hugs was part of the job description. So next time you see a Policemen see him as your friend and not just the person who tackles down criminals.

I've seen some videos of cops doing things like this, but unfortunately I had to look for them. I wish that news channels would show a few clips with the nightly news. A little positivity mixed among the horrible things they show every day would give people some hope and encourage everyone to try to be nicer. Thanks for your service.

My grandson.. my only grandchild.. was the best kind of grandson.. kind, fun, intelligent, and willing to be helpful to me and everyone around.. A delightful young man who was sensitive to smaller things and anyone in need. This boy, my beautiful grandson, "My Best Boy", died of a terrible cancer 2 weeks after his 21st birthday.

They also give you a $5 off coupon attached to your confirmation ticket. I don’t always need anything but hate to waste the coupon. Remove the confirmation ticket from the bottom and find a mom buying stuff for her kiddos and give her the coupon. If there aren’t any mom’s around the next to receive are seniors. No seniors? Anyone else you want. It’s an in store coupon so someone might as well benefit from it!! You have to give the whole top portion which is why I keep my confirmation ticket for my Amazon order and give the rest away.

It's random acts of kindness. It's a habit and you do it every day wherever you go. It's a habit. I am 75 and have been doing it my entire life. My parents taught me. I always thought everyone did until I realized they didn't. That made me see how very very very important is is to keep doing it and shining Light. I guy named Martin taught me more about this truth. Shine Light! Hold the damned door for the person after you and see that we are a family. People come in all sorts, but my sort is the human being that can see how unique everyone is. You aren't alone as long as you can look into another persons eye and see the human staring back at you. I grew up in NYC and was there for the first blackout. Not one crime was committed but the birth rate went up 9 months later. Someone wrote make love not war.

2:01 - if the owl didn't fly away, it was injured and needed more than to be placed by the side of the road. There are animal rescue groups(for wild and tame animals and birds) who will take them in and rehabilitate them. Just check for them in your area under Animal Rescue or Wild Animal Rescue.
