a trick my mom always told me growing up: dirty hair is easier to style then clean hair. It has a bit of oil in it to make it shiny and a bit of texture that you sometimes wash out . I have a lot of really fine hair, which makes styling near impossible, so if i want to do something fun (like curls) i do it on one or two day dirty hair.

I don't know how bobby pins can keep all that up. I have long thick hair, about as long as yours and very thick. And for some reason I can never keep my hair up with bobby pins. Even with dry shampoo. The hair comes out of whatever it's in since I can never get the pins to hold it to my head, I have too much hair. Maybe I'm just not using enough pins? I also am confused as to how to pin in the first place. Whenever I pin, the pins are always visible and ugly and dont help much anyway since the hair pops out from the hold. Can you maybe suggest a way to prevent this from happening?
@justletmelisten2438 жыл бұрын
are you getting pins close to your hair color? they do sell "blonde" pins, as well as the "brown" and "black" ones. also, try criss-crossing the pins in an x-pattern. it'll hopefully keep your hair pinned better. plus, some dry shampoo or texture spray will help give the pins something to grip.
@isobelami65288 жыл бұрын
+Sage Mirei you can get much bigger bobby pins than just the usual size, made for thick hair, try those? you can probably get them from drugstores or amazon!

Well that looks easy! Thank you! :DD The 40s style hair is so classy but I've been too afraid to try because they look complicated. This looks like something I can do. Would this be workable on medium/short length hair?
i LOVE YOUR COOKIE CAT TOP. XXXXX i was gonna ask you what size you recommend for a us size 6 to 8 which i think is the correct size a uk size 10 to 12 as i was going to order one but i dont know wheather to go fro size small or medium. help me please wise princess bubblegum
@fatalrob0t8 жыл бұрын
I might try that. I generally have to braid my hair for pins to stay in place, and even then they don't. They even do that when my hair is several days old with dry shampoo giving them some grip. I have really long hair so most of these 40s styles don't do well on me.
@elizabethleverett35918 жыл бұрын
I have a video request. you did a video of how you dye your hair but I think I have heard you mention that you make your own color depositing conditioner to maintain the color. anyway I would love it if you would make a video about how you make the conditioner and how/when you use it.
