Thanks so much for these tutorials! I'm starting a video channel where I review old movies and have a different vintage hair style for each one, but hair isn't my thing, so this is extremely helpful, to put it mildly! And I love how your hair is pink. It not only looks cool, but it makes it easier to see what you're doing with your hair.

I'm super into that. ;) Haha.

What I love about 40's styles was the reason for their development - women couldn't generally afford much in the way of high fashion and dramatic makeup under the restrictions of rationing to the best way to make a statement was with your hair. And they got wonderfully creative!

Can you make a fun hair tutorial for short hair? I had a pixie cut and have managed to grow it out to a Bob but it is still too short to do anything fun! I just want to be able to do SOMETHING with it while I wait for it to grow. Though I loved my pixie cut and had it for three years, if I had known how painstakingly long it would take to grow it out, I probably would have had second thoughts.

ange, may i ask why you keep your hair pastel pink these days rather than a more vibrant shade? is there any reason other than just wanting to mix things up a bit and rock a lighter colour? just curious :) love your work
@albinwonderland8 жыл бұрын
pastel pink is just more my style these days. I'm interested in a much softer pink than I was when I was younger- my favourite colours are all pastels 💞 baby pink, lavender, mint! I love these colours so much, I just want everything in these 😂

+Julia lenart I don't know what I would say in that video, since it's the exact same method I described in my last one. I use the same dye, I do the same thing. I just use slightly less Atomic Pink when I'm mixing my colour.

Hi Ang! What is the logic to where you place your bobby pins? I always use a million pins but never seem to be able to properly anchor the rolls to my head. x.x
@lesmisfan128 жыл бұрын
I'm not Ang but I usually stick them in the roll itself! I tease my hair when I do victory rolls so it gives the bobby pin something to grab onto and really helps anchor the roll to my head. Plus, it hides the bobby pin! If you don't want to tease your hair, pinning into the roll would probably still work!
@Woahlookitthemoon8 жыл бұрын
I've got a bunch of baby hairs, well, maybe not even baby hairs, but a fine layer of hair that's an inch and a half at my hairline. What should I do with it in this hair style? Spray it into the victory roll or just leave it there?

for the other slippery healthy-haired people . Applying a mousse right after you shower and combing it through the lengths of your hair before drying works nicely too, and pairing it with dry shampoo(as suggested in the video) later in the week is awesome volume and hold-vise. (any kind of mousse would work I think, an added bonus is that your hair may take longer to look greasy too)
