40's Take on the CLASSIC BRIDLE TRACK After being closed for 13 YEARS - FJ45, HJ47, HJ45, HJ80

I join the crew from daily driven 40's to drive the Bridle Track for the first time since the upgrades and being closed for over 13 years. Great day out finishing up at Hill End in Western NSW.

Great episode, beautiful part of the world. Remember doing the Bridle in '89 in a VW Beetle. The look on the faces of 4w drivers as we pulled into the Royal was priceless!

When I went down to Bathurst in October I was thinking about the bridle track on my bike. Be great to drive /ride

Great track to ride on too, there a number of bike groups that do it. Two of my mates rode it 2 weeks before I drove it.

My family own the Hill End service station as well as a few other blocks around the village. I remember getting fuel there as a kid. We try to frequent Hill End every Easter at a minimum. Keen to get my 45 Troopy back on the road and back out to Hill End where pop used it as a prospecting vehicle for years.
