this is the most cohesive , thorough and nuanced self help video i’ve seen in a while . it rejects the repetitive narratives of self help perpetuated on social media which function in extremes and leave very little room for processing complex human emotion . it’s a very honest refreshing take that i frankly do not expect of something as rigid as the self help community . the idea that no matter what , we cannot avoid pain because it’s a natural inevitability of life is such vital and overlooked piece of advice during the age of brain rot regurgitated content

Don’t let them EVER know about you 3) home = the life you build 4) you’re right, choosing friends = same high standards you have when choosing a partner (red flags = leave them) 5) if a person loves you they would change for you 6) don’t date for potential: date perfection 7) detach from people 8) wish bad on others = it’ll come back to you 9) heal completely 10) you treat yourself bad = others will treat you bad , treat yourself well 11) just do it 12) you will be ok (I will be ok!!) 13) everything is an investment 14) the grass is greener where you water it 15) focus on your life 16) you know the answer

Embrace it. 5.Walking away never gets easier. You can just do it faster each time. 6. Don't trust your judgement at nighttime, when you're emotional PMSing or under the influence 7. Don't send that paragraph. Always say less. 8. Rejection is redirection. 9. Changing your career is inevitable. Don't try to have it all figured out. 10. Fail more. 11. Home = the life you build 12. Hold your friend to the same standard as your partner. 13. Don't burn bridges. Unless necessary. 14. Money indirectly buys happiness. 15. Focus your time on learning high-paying skills 16.
