The most beautiful song I know. Oh, I wish they'd remaster the whole album with the same sound quality as Wider than the sky. 40 Watt Sun is beyond talented and perfect. So fuckin' emotionally heavy and heart warming at the same time. There's never a wrong time or feeling for their music.

No words can describe what this song means and transmits. Patrick's voice and those lyrics hit you in a way that is almost surreal.

Regardless of how much metal I'm listening to at any given time, this will always be one of the most beautiful songs I have ever listened to. Pat Walker is quite possibly the most underrated songwriter in the genre. Such intimate and honest lyrics and delivery. It's never a bad time to listen to Warning or 40 Watt.

Patrick is one of the most underrated songwriters in any genre, and is blessed with a voice that has a rare combination of power and vulnerability. It's criminal that more people aren't aware of him. He's one of the best singer-songwriters currently active in the UK, and his work is continuously evolving. The latest 40WS LP is staggeringly good.

40 watt sun and Patrick's vocals/writing make me appreciate all of the things in my life in a very powerful way. Super excited for the new album.

I did a solo-acoustic cover of this song live once...When the song ended, before any one clapped I heard someone say "WOW that was depressing!" Though I disagree, I thought it was funny that this song is so powerful that that person was literally exhausted when I was done playing it! Such a beautiful song.

Hah; and yet Warning is INFINITELY more depressing. There is an air of hopefulness to 40 Watt Sun lyrics, IMO.

Will this EP ever see the light of day? This sounds so good acoustically.

I have an acoustic version of 'Carry Me Home' on my iPod, I'm not even sure how I found to be honest. It sounded like studio quality, I wonder if that was part of the EP...

This sounds a little different to an acoustic version I heard a few years ago. The version I heard was a little longer and had lots of reverb on it.
