It's so awesome to hear an old-timer talk about making it simple and easy the hobby started to drift towards look at me I'm big money on the street I got all kinds of fancy equipment but yet my s*** keeps dying people need to start learning that again

This guy.... I GET THIS GUY. His mentality surrounding the hobby is perfection. You can't just have what you want cheaply. The time and patience is what makes it' special. Quality is lost in this world. He's a king in modern time. 👑

by far my favorite video of the travel series the guy seemed to love his fish and understood everything about us hobbies/lifestyle. I love getting to hear the owners and family members talk about their personal animals and animal keeping experiences.I think it would be awesome if you started maybe taking a fish or fish keeping product from each of these shops and review them in America

Mad respect, George. I have been following you since the beginning and it's a pleasure watching you stick to your passion. I love that you're able to travel and share these amazing places with all of us. Especially because the majority of us will likely never have an opportunity to go and see these places in person. Having the content available to view at any time is priceless.

Absolutely gorgeous and well kept! I really appreciate how he talks about doing things right and the need to do it slow. There’s a time and place for tech to do its thing but with stuff like this I can definitely see why going at a more natural pace is important. Just look at all his fish and coral, it speaks for itself. He’s doing an amazing job, and you can see the love he’s really put into all of it over the years

That is one very blessed family. Wow! Koi kichi is right! My fam used to have koi until some blue herons and river otters ate them...they definitely were on the smaller side compared to these supreme koi! I loved seeing the corals. I know nothing about coral care, and it was interesting to learn you can cut them down into smaller pieces. I wonder what they look like after they're freshly cut...must look strange at first!

Corals are amazing. You cant shortcut good husbandry unlike the rest of the hobby. Shops house animals, and not take care of them long term. But if you want to keep a coral to sell, even short term, you have to do it right

Thank goodness he’s not , then it would be just like literally every single other KZbinr on here , there’s only so many cichlids and large predator freshwater fish to keep and it’s all already been filmed before . His choice in just coral and koi is like total opposite ends of the spectrum and he’s mastered them both . He’s probably get bored with “monster fish “ even though he already has 5 ft koi

Those Koi prices are crazy. I wonder how often he actually sells them at those price points.
@WastedTalent-10 ай бұрын
If someone has the money, they'll buy it just to say they paid $30K for that fish. I worked in a pet store in a very affluent area on Long Island and people just spent money on stuff, not knowing how to take care of it or paying someone else to, pretty much for bragging rights. You see it in every specialty hobby. It wouldn't be that price if people weren't willing to pay it.
