Loved the interview, though I had to check my KZbin settings like five times… Because I thought I had accidentally sped the video up because Brett talks so fast. Lol. In any case, it was good learning about some of the stuff. I enjoyed the show. I didn’t watch it religiously, but I’ll catch it every once in a while when the reruns are on. It’s ridiculous that they don’t get residuals from the show especially after making that TV company so much money over 19 years. They could at least give them $10,000 a year. Because I’m sure those shows are still making that company millions of dollars a year in advertisements. Just ridiculous and greedy. But that’s why a lot of those companies turn to reality television in the 90s and 2000s. because they knew that they could get content cheap and because those people didn’t know anything about the industry… They could get them for pennies on the dollar in long-term contracts that didn’t allow for any negotiation after the fact.

Wow $500 for a blue tongue lizard! They are running around on my property here in Australia, but they are also protected from being lizardnapped from the wild, as they should be. They are not hard to breed in captivity though.

The only reason axtolotls are not extinct is because of captive breeding programs just like there's a small bloodline of Barbary lions that used to belong to MGM here in Vegas at a place called lion habitat ranch

The research and rescue they do there is actually amazing! They work very hard taking care of all of their fishy residents. Paying to go there is paying for their animal rehabilitation programs there and all around CT andRI. It isn't a sea world. It is part of a larger effort to protect and care for sea life in the northeast and beyond
