I got a chance to go to Medjugorge in 1989. The pink rosaries with silver medal that I had bought in Las Vegas and brought with me-the medal turned golden during the Divine Mercy prayer in front of the Blessed Sacrament. At Mass in the crowded church, I felt very honored that one of the priests when it came to distribute Holy Communion, came and brought Jesus directly to me. I was overjoyed with the Lord's kindness!

In Luke's Gospel we hear St Elizabeth exclaiming that Mary is the mother of the savior & St.John the Baptist as a fetus jumping for joy in the presence of Jesus as an embryo carried in Mary's womb. We are who we are from conception.

It is only in CHRIT JESUS that you must place your faith. Mary was a creature and she herself needed a Savior: (Luke 1:47) And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Savior. God does not give His glory to anyone else because He alone is GOD (Isaiah 42: 8) I am the YHWH: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images. Please friend read the bible and know your God. To grant glory to someone other than GOD is simply idolatry and idolaters will not inherit the kingdom of God (1 Corinthians 6: 9). Matthew 1:24-25. 24 When Joseph woke up, he did what the angel of the Lord had commanded him and took Mary home as his wife. 25 But he did not consummate their marriage until she gave birth to a son. The word is being used to point out the virgin birth and nothing beyond that. Similarly to how you would use the word "until" in the sentence "take care of yourself, until we meet again" you aren't implying that they ought not take care of themself after you do meet again, the word is being used in reference to BEFORE you meet again and nothing beyond that. Don't let men poison your mind against the Blessed Virgin Mother of God

From north California, Sandra, Im sorry to hear about your discomfort.. never give up on prayer, reading the Holy Bible, or praying the Holy rosary..I was shaking ' in terror' during the whole time that I was reading the Old Testament in the Bible, about 4 yrs ago. Then, the night before the Campfire (deadliest in the state's history), I was inspired to start reading the Holy Bible again. I was tired and stopped after 3pgs., after the IIne where Adam and Eve just got kicked out of Paradise. This was the last thing I did before I fell asleep. I woke up with my husband announcing that he got an evacuation warning text on his cell, and that we have to evacuate. .it wiped out 90% of the town of Paradise.. Talk about being kicked out of 'Paradise'..Needless to say, I was afraid to read that (or any) Bible for about 3 mos. My husband did not make fun of me for this and neither did he push me to start reading it when I wasn't ready, though he did tease me and told me not to get us kicked out of Paradise again..I pray this helps you in some way.

I too believe that we are too close to the secrets been revealed . Our lady of Medjugorje was one of the reasons that lead me from Islam to her son Jesus Christ and her messages taught me a lot and made me fall in love with Christianity . I too was so impressed by our lady of Fatima and her messages when i was a Muslim . It helps me to consider that the "war" is already over, and St. Michael the Archangel has already cast satan and all the other evil spirits into hell. Dear beloved of my heart, the Church has always maintained that private revelation is not something that we need to concern ourselves with. My goodness I just pray that we all have love and peace in our hearts. Everyday temptation seeks to make us fall by implanting seeds of all kinds. It isnt easy to walk as Christ and forgive those around us that fall. It is so easy to take our eyes off our own character defects and find fault in others. It is HARD to stay silent when we are use to speaking our truth, it is a real discipline I have been working on. May God in his mercy forgive us all our defects.

Mother Angelica put it well. Whether an apparition site is true let's let the Church decide. We hear message that Our Lady calls to repent and change, pray especially the Mass and Rosary, do penance and live a life of Christian Virtue and Faith. The prayers are based on Scripture. The Chaplet of Divine Mercy is Biblical. The prayers call to mind Jesus's Passion and Death.

I’d advise looking into what the local bishop said when Medjugore started. There are too many odd things about Medjugorje. Just because something has some truth in it, doesn’t change it is a lie.

Her book addresses that and much more. Strongly suggest it. My heart will triumph. You're going to the source when you read her book. Not going through all types of false attacks that, for the record, every private revelation experienced ESPECIALLY St Faustina's.

The priest Tomislav Vlašić who was the main mentor of Medjugorje is now excommunicated and he also has an illegitimate child with a Nun during his Seminary time the nun and the kid is now in Germany . The Visionary Vicka was caught lying two times on tape . Once she claimed that Mary was about to drop Jesus . One time she said she Mary blessed the group formed by Tomislav but when confronted with his past the next day she said she lied because of pressure and Mary had not given that message The Visionary Marijana started lying that she didn't select Fr Peter Ljubicic from 2015 because he was old and nothing was happening but she had already written in her book and stated in several interviews on tape that she had selected Fr Peter Ljubicic and confirmed the same to Mary . There are several money laundering cases against the hospitality businesses run by the visionaries but the Croatian Government turns a blind eye because Medjugorje brings in millions of dollars to the country through this scam . As faithful Catholics we must discern the truth and must not supported these liars . I have had experienced the strong scent of roses when praying the rosary. One time when I was in a troubled situation, I was driving and all of a sudden the scent of roses filled the car.. I said to my mother "do you smell that?? Wow!".. she said,, well i was just praying to the blessed mother and a rose was shown. I myself do not get visions but my mother did occasionally. She is definitely not the type to tell stories or make these things up. Some others included a larger divine mercy image that appeared when we were in a bad situation and also with padre pio who is not only a great intercessor but likes to joke. Powerful saint... another with st gabriel who appeared just as scene in images as a cherub. Believe it or not i don't care. , she was definitely not insane or schizophrenic.

I've been To Medjugorje 4 times Fr. Mark. It's hard to explain, Father, but it's like ther's some kind of "Electricity" in the atmosphere there.
