just about all substitute meats have worst preservatives, oils etc than actual meat. Just go cold turkey

Dr Thomas Seyfried is a professor of medicine and a leading expert in cancer. He says that all cancers have one thing in common; they all thrive on glucose and glutamine and the best thing you can do to prevent cancer is lower your insulin response and cut out carbohydrates in your diet. Dr Paul Mason has studied mitochondrial health for years and analysed studies into cholesterol which conclude at only plant oils are dangerous to your cell health and animal fats on a low or no carb diet are necessary for good health. Im glad you have admitted you're not a dietitian.

I'll always tell you my capabilities as well as my limitations. I have full medical, law, business, biology, and psychology degrees. I have gotten my nutrition education less formally, but much more intensively than actual nutritionists & a bit less intensively than registered dieticians.

This is true. Processing is the worst thing humans ever did to food, regardless of whether it's plant or animal.

I was vegetarian for 20 years and have been vegan for 5. I love making my own dishes because its fun and interesting. I feel healthy, but recently I'm learning how to consume more plant based protein. With the rise in food prices, making my own food saves me lots of money too.

Thank you for this video. I have eaten mainly animal products for the last 2.5 years (and started HRT at the same time) and am alarmed at your advice. I definitely don’t want breast cancer or want to have a heart attack! Before I make a drastic change and go plant based, would you mind providing me with a link to a few of the studies you refer to? I would very much appreciate this. Thank you for all of the hard work you do. I know your main goal is to provide us with as much information as possible and for us to make our own informed decisions.

Thank you for such common sense and practical advice instead of blaming nonsense such as vaccines for cancer. Your advice is something anyone can follow cheaply. Many doctors such as Neal Barnard, John McDougall, T. Colin Campbell, and Caldwell Eselstyn back up your recommendations.

Breast food is best. ☺ As for us…we went plant-based 5 1/2 years ago and have not looked back. It’s easy once you make up your mind and get going. I want to give myself the opportunity to be as healthy as possible. It is nice to be able to get the facts and manage my menopause my way. 💕💕

I'm afraid I could never get my carnivore husband to give up meat, and I'm not prepared to cook two different meals. I did completely give up alcohol about a year ago.

I don’t drink alcohol, I don’t smoke, I eat a lot of crucifiers vegetables, I love all kinds of vegetables, do exercises, not an athlete but I keep active. My last mammogram my doctor said I have a 50 % chance to get breast cancer because my small size breast tissue is very dense 😔 still I am going to keep taking care of myself and prevent any kind of cancer. I have family history of all kinds of cancer, including ovarian and breast cancer.

@@MenopauseTaylor thanks, I was thinking about getting HRT but I don’t think I should, since I am at high risk of getting some cancers, still getting the right education to avoid or prevent cancer is my best option, thanks for all the wonderful information, suggestions and advice you give to all you audience 🌺❤️

@@MenopauseTaylor there’s ovarian and breast cancer in my family history, also my blood got thicker when I was on the pill for birth control, had to get off of it and detox from it. I know this doesn’t mean I will get any kind of cancer if I do HRT during perimenopause and menopause, I can get it and still prevent with a healthy lifestyle. I will keep watching your videos, hopefully I can make the investment to get a consultation with you. Thank for your response ❤️🌺

Dr. Taylor, I appreciate the education you provide on your channel very much! I have a question for HRT for someone in perimenopause. The hormones rise and fall during the menstrual cycles, should HRT be administered in such a way that tracks the natural hormonal rhythms? Or are they (e.g., estrogen and progesterone) given at a constant daily dose, which has been somewhat optimized? Do you think one way is better than the other? Or is there a third better way to administer the HRT?

No, they do not. Menopause is as certain as death and taxes. But birth control pills are the same thing as HRT for menopause ... at higher dosages. So they will mask some symptoms.

You're right, viruses cause cancer. But certain foods (such as heated vegetable oils or charred meats) can trigger those viruses, so food does matter.

She didn’t say it caused it. It is a risk factor. No one knows what actually causes breast cancer. She has pointed that out in previous videos. There is a difference.

@@RD2BShe is medical doctor. We have a garden and we prepare food from it without it being “processed.” We also have fruit trees that yield fresh fruit that can be eaten as is. At any rate, is there a need to be so rude? If this information doesn’t suit you, you are quite free to move along.
