$400 Gaming PC Benchmarks! I'm impressed on how this system was able to play a couple games on 4K settings. (Game is capped at 60FPS for pc) - Tekken 8 averaged 60FPS on Ultra 4K settings! (Game is capped at 60FPS for pc)

I saw the Ryzen 5500 test and this xeon beat it in gaming performance. It's really not worth paying more for the 5500 to have a little more fps or even losing to the 2697 v3.

Yea the 5500 was pretty much the same or worse. But that build was using brand new parts, and you have the option to upgrade to lets say a 5800x3d. The xeons are really good and their cheap in price. But they are used and you dont have that upgradable path. But yes the 2697 v3 would be a good option for people who want a budget system now and in 2 years they upgrade to a whole new pc.

@SandwichTech_ Yes, I believe that because it has more cores the processor performs better in games. I would go for the 2697 v3, but there is always that problem, fear of damaging it, so I think I will go for the 5600.

Is this processor in unlock turbo boost?

it is locked. Stock benchmarks. If you turbo boost it you will get more fps than what I got in this video

No unlock turbo boost, why? it should work on 3,6 Ghz on all cores. And it is better to disable hyperthreading to get more (stable) fps in games. Kind of fake tests, as in your video 2697v3 runs much worse than it could if configured in a right way

@@Али-г4х7о No need to disable cores. It depends on undervoltage settings. Almost all 2697v3 work well with -60/-50/-50 - you will get then 3.5 Ghz all cores. As for me I use 12/24 for work tasks or 13/13 or 14/14 cores for games (hyperthreading off). it gives the highest and most stable FPS with 3,6 all cores.

I run stock benchmarks. Ik turbo boosting gets better performance but I like to do stock since its what most people will use and for stock benchmarks its not that bad. I will do a turbo boost vid showing stock and turbo boost side by side.

The max mhz that the cpu reads is 2133 MHz so 3600mhz won’t make a difference.

i got ryzen 550 32gb ram 2933 and rx 6800 16gbvram and my 1% lows go down to the 20s but my avg goes over 240

Ehhh not really. Its not worth upgrading to that cpu. Most of these xeons perform similarly, the 2697v4 will be like a micro improvement.

Yea I’ll do it next week once the new season drops. New season always have fps issues. Friday morning the vid should be up rtx 3060 and Ryzen 9. Imma do 2 videos 1 performance mode and 1 dx12 vid.

Este placa es de ali express so las calculaciones del cpu no esta bien (poder) Casi la mayoria de jente no pone el poder de Watts porque las placas de ali express no calcula bien el watts. Pero si, este CPU consume como 100watts oh mas durante un juego.
