Not a bad video only thing I wished was a closer view of things you were talking about being new to 3d printing

Very informative video. Have you printed any PETG? Any issues?

Thank you! And I have tried PETG a little. A few good prints and then I think cura updated and change some settings on me, then I wasn't getting the temps right with the speed, so I honestly haven't needed PETG enough to do it justice and give it the time required to get it back to snuff with PETG. It can do it fine! Just be mindful of your settings take your time, and watch for updates!

Thanks especially for including all the links to your prints.

Your welcome! I'm always sad when a 3d printer video makes something awesome! But then never posts a link for it!

I have lk5 pro coming this week. Can you tell which upgrades I need to do carbon fiber? Thanks.

Informative! With Cura's pause at height, I can't remember if it's Marlin or BQ - can you advise? Thanks!

Thank you! And the lk5 runs on marlin.

I've been having an issue recently where the printer keeps going into recovery mid print, is this an error you faced too and if so do you know how to fix it?
@Lhosal8 ай бұрын
I was having this issue, idk if this applies to you, but my printer came with a 3d printed filament feeder that I just brushed off. It turns out it was important and filament feeding incorrectly ran out my filament sensor and it would randomly stop and continue, or the z axis would have a bad layer. The feeder alignment fits to the left of the z axis roller behind where your filament feed motor is, maybe this will help someone cause this went way over my head and ruined a few prints for me lol 😂.

Bought the Longer LK5 Pro 3d printer and it didn't work right out of the box. The Z axis would only go up but not down, wouldn't home and was doing strange things. So, I contacted Longer support to find out that my printer had a bad motherboard. Then they told me they would ship me a new motherboard and to fix it myself. I guess they got the name LONGER for it want work long but takes longer to get it fixed. I wouldn't trust anything with the brand name Longer on it. I have three other 3d printers from three different manufactures and have had no issues. Again, I wouldn't trust anything with the brand name Longer on it.

I'm sorry you haven't had a good experience with it. Unfortunately I think there is a chance with every single brand and product to not have a perfect product every time.

How do you configure the head to print hotter?
@DoubleBitsWorkshop Жыл бұрын
That is something you will have to do in your slicing software. I believe the option is "print temp" but that could be different depending on what you use. There is also an option to change uit mid print while in the settings menu on the Longer.
