$400 PARIS APARTMENT tour / housing in Paris / student life

400€ Paris Apartment tour is up on my KZbin! I’ve been filming bits and pieces of this videos for the past couple of months and I know it’s always curious to know how students live in different countries.
Here is Crous, Parisian housing for students, which can go as low as 300€ a month if you are connected to a university. A lot of non students live here as well.
My advice for housing in Paris/Europe:
-Auberge de Jeunesse (youth hostel)
Usually cheaper and many times provides breakfast!
-Hostels
I use “Hostelworld” to find the best deals and locations. In Milan I loved Babila Hostel&Bistrot (they had breakfast)
-Friends
I hosted 4 people this semester, as well as stayed with two in Spain and France, so don’t hesitate to use your connections around the world! (Be respectful and accept a “no” too)
Districts:
-✔️17th district-close to 14th metro line which goes through the center and is easy to use
✖️Avoid 16,6 districts can be more expensive
-✔️Stay in the middle or left, upper left side of Paris
✖️Avoid 19th district can be more dangerous

Because I saw that there's a specific document asked that is called "justificatif des ressources", do you know anything about it? Hi!! So, i had to present my acceptance letter from the university, and the "justificatif des ressources" is basically a bank statement or a document that proves you have the funding to pay for the accomodation. I just paid for all 6 months at once when I arrived, but I had to present those documents online to book a slot for the apartment. Hope that helps! Have as many documents ready that prove that you are a student and that you can live there.

@@joostwesselius3855 it’s fully furnished- bed, chairs, stove- BUT all the kitchen appliances are not included so you will have to buy your own. As well as shower curtain and bedding

Hi there! I applied a few months before coming: arrived on January 1st, applied in September October! I applied with Dauphine University- they provided a referral link for me to contact Crous Residences. And then Crous assigned me to Martin Luther King Apartments !

You can contact Crous directly through this website: www.crous-paris.fr or through email: messervices.etudiant.gouv.fr I also recommend CIUP: www.ciup.fr/maisons-liste/ I recommend asking in French and being respectful- as it might increase your chances of getting a reply. I am not a specialist on apartments- so I won’t be able to find you an apartment! I answered many of the same questions in the previous comments, so please read them before leaving more.

Hi! You contact them online through email and they will share all the infromation needed to apply. Usually it is done through a univeristy where you will be studying, or through an online application.
