In northern mountains of Pakistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, we also use the word "bukhari" @8:55. I don't know if it has any connection with Bukhara, Uzbekistan. Beautiful place, wonderful architecture, would love to visit this place someday.

This is an excellant effort to present our life and culture in Kinnaur.. These ancient heritages are the testimony of kinnaurs rich past in tems of its values and knowledge.. Invariably, we find few old houses, temples, forts and ponds etc in almost every village in Kinnaur.. These have stood firm against the time and are examples of great architectural brilliance.. You have very rightly mentioned that these heritage constructions needs to be maintained and preserved so that younger generation could understand and learn from our glorious past..
