I want an 05 sti pretty bad lol or perhaps an 18 or newer but I think I'd rather have an 05, I'd love to build something similar to a 22b out of some lame American RS lol but I kinda just wanna get an STI that I dont have to build and fix all the time lol. Maybe someday I'll do both lol. I kinda feel that blue looks nicer then the blue that everyone knows the sti for, I'm gonna have to keep the name of that paint in mind lol. I like all the HKS stuff on it and the fact that HKS themselves have had hands on it, that's pretty awesome. If that was my car I think the only things I would change would be to add a factory or similar spoiler if it would fit and the tail lights but if u say they sequence and you can mess around with LED control and whatnot then I prolly wouldn't touch em and then maybe some fog light housings molded into the bumper or something, other then that I wouldn't change a thing it's perfect except maybe see if i could get a lil more power out of it reliably without breaking things and keeping it streetable but who wouldn't 😆 good vid.

I recirculate my HKS too. I'm using two preshaped silicone hoses with a coupler. My front mount came with an HKS venting to atmosphere but my tuner wanted it to recirculate. Mine runs and sounds better recirculating.

I feel like 400(whp) is the magic number for STi's. If you need 800hp, there are much easier motors to do that one. Plus I hear Subaru's are expensive to repair.

This guy is talking shit without knowing anything about the car lol He used to race that thing. I guess he's done with that, but the Sti has widebody with custom made Cusco long stroke coilovers for the handling, and all the intake + exhaust system replaced. All handling parts and performance parts are aftermarket, except for turbo. The video states Japan doesn't need big turbo in Japan, and on KiNO's video, he explained he used to race up on the canyon and he needs that low end torque, which makes sense. The car would only understeer without enough torque at the bottom when you're driving a narrow and windy road. In the US, yes because of 2500cc engine. In countries with 2000cc engines, and with high octane fuels, like in Japan, EJ20 actually lasts. It’s not the car. It’s the engine built for North America that is problematic, and the low octane level provided makes it worse.

Full tsr race turbo kit. 5 inch thick front mount intercooler. Full 12 litre aqamist meth kit. Kw3 suspention. Stock exterior. Full gauges. Come take it for a spin. Made 449 on mustang dyno and 401 TRQ. week end fun for the last 12 years. 138000 KM on the odometer. Raced time attack quite a few times. PROPER BUILD nothing left to be done. O its a 2.65:L
