Congratulations to Kaczmarek! She and athletes like Lesiweicz are the future of the Polish 400 m running, but the British athlete ran the anchor leg like someone who specializes in 200 m races and has never run 400 m before.

Natalia has two senior medals from...2018 (the 4x400m relay at the World Indoor Championships and at the European Championships). Not to mention about this year. So It is hard to say that she is the future the Polish 400 meters.

This video was posted 9 days ago, but the races took place at the 2019 European Athletics U23 Championships. So 2 years ago. Natalia Kaczmarek was 21 at the time. She has improved a lot since then. At the 2021 Polish Athletics Championships Natalia ran the 400m in 50.72.

I think this is more about the Polish way of relay: keep your own steady pace rather than close the gap and then finish fast. This is how the senior team run as well. Thanks to that tactics the Polish 4x400 senior team beat USA and Jamaica in Yokohama in 2019

*Ewa Klobukowska & Irena Kirszensztain-Szewinska 100m & 200m !!!* They both put American & Jamaican girls on the back burner. The first one was not politicly correct (enough) so commie Soviets with help of the East Germans found the way to get rid of Ewa but Irena was the Queen of 200m until she turned 34 y.o. I hope that Nataliap & Pia + the rest of Polish beauties will repeat those years of glory. I honesty wish them all the best (gold, gold, gold many golds !!!)

We had never got Olympic medal in running since 1980r Bronislaw Malinowski's gold in 3000m steeplechase. Our girls are focus on 4x400m relay.

In 1984 Lucyna Kałek was a main favourite for the gold medal in the 100m hurdles. The f**king Soviets boycotted the Olympics in Los Angeles. Poland had to do the same due to its dependence on the Soviet Russia.

The presented race took place 2 years ago. This year Natalia Kaczmarek (born 1998) achieved 50.72 in the 400m race, I think Sydney (born 1999) will not run 400m hurdles at that time, although she is a great athlete.
