It's good to wash the machined block with a detergent rather than solvent. The surfactant lifts the grime away, instead of dissolving it on the surface. Have the WD40 ready. Thanks for having us in your garage, Phong!

Probably a better route for you at this point Phong. That nitro engine isn't cheap, so you are smart to tune the chassis with this setup first. Good luck man 👍

Phong jubo coffee filters work good for cleaning engine parts. They are white lint free and inexpensive.

Never had any luck with those plastic input shafts and a multi disc clutch. Too much play in the plastic splines to guarantee good disc alignment.
