It is simple though. From a technical standpoint it really isn't complicated. It isn't like the traceroutes need to be changed or the VBIOS changed. It really just comes down to profit margins and Nvidias greed. But hey, of you say bad things about Nvidia neckbeards will storm the comments.

Except the difference is this is an unstable product. They are overclocking it which immediately means it is entering the "use at your own risk" territory. Don't get me wrong nvidia is overpriced nearly as much as apple but trust me, a 4070 cannot reach these heights while still being a stable product that isn't under constant threat of blowing up

Overclocking a card can be done without hurting the card at all. Temp limit and current is a balance. More current, less temp.
