@@inquisitorthomasdefinitely536 You do realise that, somewhere out in the Eye of Terror, there are Daemon Forges, loaded with tech stolen and corrupted during the Martian Schizm, churning out metal crimes against nature 24/7, right? Small Titans like Warhounds are relatively easy to replace, it's the bigger ones that cannot be recreated (I think there are nine chaos Imperator-class Titans left in the galaxy). Granted, these daemon forges are few and far between and Dark Mechanicum might be too busy bolting dildos to tractors to care about building more Titans, so the losses from Vraks hurt the traitors way more sevearly (those were also premium, first-edition Titan), but they are far from permanent. It's like culling vermin. Get rid of them all at once or they are just going to keep perpetually regaining their numbers.

@@Brotherbear-er7rn I heard that rumour as well, but if a Warlord and Imperator can be rebuilt post-battle if the reactor haven't gone nova, so can a Reaver. We even have an example of a Reaver-class titan being brought back to full operating capability even after getting an arm blown off and the rest sevearly scorched by a near point-blank hit with an overloaded plasma destructor (weapon of a Warlord-class Titan).

Given how the Hades Breaching Drill is a repurposed civilan piece of mining equipment equipped with melta-cutters that can cut through fortresses (and terminators and titan legs, but that's a secondary- they have to dig under those first and they need to not move out of the way), it would be silly to presume otherwise.

@@skirk248 In real life (WW1 and earlier) artillery was seen as a punishment station where no glory could be gained, even if the war was won on artillery often. Given the Death Korps WW1 inspired styling (in both dress and mentality), it probably will be. I imagine high competition over who gets to man the heavy plasma weapons.

Psst! anvilindustry.co.uk/Regiments/trench-fighters I mean, they're still going to cost a not an insignificant sum, but they're not quite as rip-off-ish as Forge World's prices... (10 "Kriegers" from Anvil - ~36€ / 10 Kriegers from FW - 55€). There's also MaxMini and Puppet's War if you want more options in terms of bits. And as someone who has ordered stuff from Anvil, yes, it's good quality.

Well boy then are you in for a treat. Spoilers: it gets sooo much worse. Kagori had better count himself lucky there weren't even further titans! Not unlike his owns staff, he couldn't count on the titan group "putting the army's interests ahead of their own." Their cooperation only came when those self-interests where satisfied. But once they where, his "bigger stick" became exactly that.

Even when putting there own interests 1st they are still the most valuable asset on the field. When engaging traitor war engines they are doing a job no other force was prepared to do - removing the ability for the god engines to stymie and reverse the momentum of combat. Battles are like the ocean, tidal flow carries great weight. While the tide slowed it did not recede.

Man arch, i know youll probably see this but thank you, thank you, thank you. Ive absolutely been in love with the 40k universe for over a decade since i was in middle school. Its always been hard to get others into the setting. Ive managed to find a few friends just as passionate about the universe as i am and ive even been running several warhammer 40k based rpgs (death watch, there is only way, Dark Heresy) for almost as long as ive been into the universe. Your videos have been ABSOLUTELY priceless as a resource for new players to my rpg or when im trying to turn someone on to warhammer 40k in general. Your well spoken you obviously script these and put a lot of effort into them and it shows, i think your channel is the best source of 40k lore on youtube.
