Video is very good, not a fan of the music, but not a music fan anyways. I get there is not much to speak about on a crossing when everything is working. Thanks for sharing and I joined! John

Thanks for following, we do mix up the trance with 80s pop - not a fan of boilerplate/coffee shop/waiting room music you often find on the Sailing videos 😊 I guess you can't please everyone!

Good camera work but somewhat disappointing with the crazy music.

Amazing what you can capture on a mobile phone, but it still doesn't reflect the horrific nature of those conditions. As for the music, trance needs to be turned up loud to fully appreciate it - or you can of course use the mute button 😉

Nicely put together. I’m living in Port Vila, from Aus, lots of lovely yachts here for the season. I’ve been wondering how long it would take to get back to Aus by sailboat, now I know. Looks like you came from Santo. Last few weeks the wind has been strong out of the south east, south west, there are whitecaps on the ocean most days and large waves. Looks like you had a favorable window for your crossing (mostly). Nice wan!!

70% favourable, I'll take that!

Good video, but I'd rather hear "...wind howling..." instead of music.

Hit the mute button and open the window on a windy day then!

Indeed we are, the boat has had that name since it was launched in 1992, so we decided to stick with it when we bought her 10 years ago, it's a lovely name. Thanks for following

Was this passage completed last year towards end of season? I watch another Chanel - their boat is Jaygo and they got caught in similar conditions from Vanuatu to Brisbane.
