A bonus video as an add on to my Valentines Day Hearts ideas series. Watch me try different types of paper directly into resin. Origami paper, foiled paper, glitter cardstock and decorative acetate. Some interesting results I think you'll agree!

Interesting video, using different colours & techniques !! I really loved the acetate one the most thoug!! My 2nd favorite is the delicate papers --- are these napkins ?? If you don't mind, I would love the template once that final slight increase adjustment is made. Many thanks !!! Julie

yes I was surprised too. Especially the light green one that little bits of it went transparent so the glitter showed through. Nice surprise!

Did you use a paper punch or did you hand-cut the hearts?

I made a pattern for my Cricut to cut them as I was doing so many, but hand cutting would be simple too :)

I have a Cricut maker that I need to learn how to use. Will your pattern work with that? I have the same mold and these are cool! I think if you seal the paper sith ModPodge or some other sealer that would keep them from. Curling or absorbing the resin. I love how the acetate ones turned out. I think those are my favorite!

yep :) it's just an SVG file so it'll work on any of those sorts of machines. Maker is a lot bigger than my joy so you will probably find you can copy and paste several across the width of your canvas to use the full width of your paper - less waste :)

various sorts - origami paper, printer paper, scrapbook card.... pretty much any paper works

so pretty i love that purple one quick question would it be easier or wiser to cure the first pour of resin then modpodge the cut out hearts to help with bubbles before the last leyer of glitter ? also iv tried to get the svg files but its saying theres nothing so share ??? could you possibly do a tutorial video on making the templates ???? thank you for your company xo

Hi Olivia. I won't be making videos on how to make the templates as there are soooo many already out there. I have a horrible feeling my templates will only be accessible in the UK but once I get the ability to set up a members group I'll set up a proper download so anyone anywhere can get them. Re mod podge - makes no difference, I did also have that thought . the best seems to be alcohol spray as I've found since

Did you seal the hearts with anything?

Nope - just cut them out and put them straight in. I wanted to see what happened if I just did that
