I think the .410 is a good rabbit and squirrel gun. I also use it for doves some times.

How far is the cylinder choke effective out of a 410? Just picked one up to try on thick cover grouse this fall but not sure what choke to put in it. Thinking skeet or IC most likely.

I would say out to 25 yards you would be okay with a cylinder choke.
