I personally adore Miku. I don't know why people hate her she is an excellent character with a tragic backstory that when you learn it makes you sympathize with her and connect with her on a deeper emotional level. Her and Kurumi are the two spirits I love the most and they are my top waifus of Date a Live. They both can be bubbly and cheerful and the next cruel and cold when they need to be. To me those two represent the best that Date a Live has to offer in my opinion. Also I do agree Jad Saxton did an amazing job voicing her just like Alexis did for Kurumi. I also really enjoy their work in Kaguya sama as well since they both bring Chika Fujiwara and Kaguya Shinomiya to live more than any other could.

Origami is my least favorite character, is very good character but I think that she is written to hate her she is hypocrite, selfish, reckless and she doesn't care anything if she wants to kill the spirits she doesn't matter that the spirits are good persons, that some innocent people could die in the middle of the battle (like in the park with Kodori) even when Miku saw that Shido was a good guy she changes her mind about men and stop acting like a misandrist but though Origami saw that not all Spirits were bad persons she doesn't stop trying to kill them,it was pure hatred and racism and for that reason she killed their own parents it was her fault, Miku was a very bad person but at least it wasn't her fault that a damned TV showman ruins her career.

Still least favotite, i have a stong hatred for manipulative people. She has a good backstory that is actually quite sad. But after all is said and done shes on the bottom of my spirit (excluding videogame exclusives that is not a varint like ice princess yoshino and Mio Takamiya)

I have a perspective about Mukuro as meteorite is suited with her personality. Where she's having this attachment issues with people who close to her causing harm on those person as example Shido and her adopted parents. When Meteorite get too close to a Planet it could be dangerous and cause the planet harm in this case are shown by how Mukuro Erase her adopted family existence from anyone who knew them bcs she's afraid they got taken away from her and also how she Literally almost harming an entire planet just so Shido didn't get taken away from her and also accidentally chopping his limb off. (TW: Wall of Text from someone who loves Science) Some of these I figured out quickly (Yamai Sisters and Yoshino) but some were a Nightmare for me to guess (Kurumi hence the Nightmare pun) Also for Kurumi's -The very first Higurashi chapter roughly translates to "Spirited Away by the Demon" and considering spoilers for Higurashi makes sense with Kurumi As for Mukuro - the fact she can Suddenly explode fits with how Meteorites can suddenly explode over the Atmosphere (Like the 2013 one over Russia) which could maybe connect personality As for Yamai (Kaguya in particular) - "Rapid intensification" is the explosive intensification of tropical cyclones such as Typhoons which could maybe connect Personality As for Yoshino - "Lake Effect Snow" is a very unpredictable phenomenon found in areas where warm water meets cooler air most famously the Great Lakes region but can happen in Western Japan and can produce Localized Blizzard like conditions that can lead to very intense snowfall (2017 in Erie PA had one of these events that produced 63 inches/160 cm of snow with most of that happening within 48 hours) not sure how that links with her personality but it shows how Cold weather can be unpredictable

Fun fact if you take all of the powers from date a live and verse them against someone who hold 1% of power (this power is given to those who are worthy of it but I’m not spelling it) they would lose yes that also includes everyone’s best girl nightmare. And in a dual situation it would be over in the snap of a finger. What would happen? Well the spirit would lose their power permanently, and that’s it. Game over.

Kurumi is criminally overrated. Yoshino,Kotori petite Natsumi and Nia are best spirts/waifus. Albeit the anime and game fails yo understand that Nia is supposed to be flat. It's actually apart of her character that she uses it in her sex appeal. It wouldn't make sense otherwise yet they keep ruining it. Also each successive season the art and animation gets worse. Save the animation like you save the spirts Shido.

I mean sure, both girls have reasons to why they were that way, but natsumi's is far less sympathetic in my opinion. also, the twins didn't seem that entertaining either. to me, they were just.... there. same case for nia. and believe it or not, i feel like tohka is over-emphasized. if not for that, she would have made top 5 just over origami.
