One issue I have with so many of these rigs being built today is that people seem to think you can just go minimum on the toilet and shower and nobody cares. To me the entire reason to bring along a massive rig like this is not so I have a kitchen and beds but so I have a comfortable place to crap and shower. This is the one thing you lack even in urban settings today with everyplace locking up their restrooms, making them hard to access or off limits even for paying customers most of the time. This makes the need for a toilet in your rig, even on a city tour, more important than a large kitchen.

A place that you spend 10 minutes a day in should not be more important than the reason you are in the outdoors, which us to store outdoor things for outdoor activities

@@Neverquitoverland That rig might work for some people that don't care about those two personal comforts and when I was younger you could have counted me in that group. But I have done enough sleeping on the ground, digging holes to crap in, and trying to get myself clean with a half gallon of cold water, that I want to at least have a bed, toilet, and shower in my high end camper. I love the idea that they are not to "live in" but to "live out of". If I am spending $300k-400k on a camper, I want more than some LEDs in my cupboards and hammocks on the side of the truck. Those are cute but I want a toilet that doesn't block my doorway and a shower I can actually get clean in. Move the entire kitchen out and build a toilet and shower there. Build and outdoor kitchen unit, more compact and most of the time you would cook outside anyway.

Hi Sir, Thank you for writing. I did not want this to be just a glorified RV, but a glorified adventure Habitat. ...One that you can securely bring kayaks, a boat, outboard engine, skis, SUP boards, etc., and explore, all while storing those adventure items inside, out of sight, vs straping them to the roof or back where they can get stolen, crushed or in the way of heights and overhanging trees. When you shower, you are showering for 10 minutes, so if the shower is on the left or right side of the camper, it is irrelevant. When you go to the toilet, this has a more expensive toilet (dry-flush) than others, with no horrible black water tank, seeing all your poo. And you have 2 full bedrooms and well over 100 gallons of water in stainless steel tanks vs plastic like all others that leach horrible chemicals into your water. I just wanted to make some of these points in case they were helpful, especially since you were kind to take the time to write. Very respectfully, Erik Petroni

@@Neverquitoverland Thanks for responding and I understood watching this that you built this to your personal preference. I was not singling your vehicle out as this is not the only version I have seen done in this way. I was just stating what my own preference would be and what I think a lot of my friends would also want. Especially when so many of the people that can afford one of these are likely past 50yo and the outdoors type that still want to get out into the wilderness and off the beaten path. Many also have a wife that will not be happy with those types of facilities for more than a weekend. (if that long) .

Hi again. I understand, Sir. Yes, it is not made for the masses but for those people that prioritize adventure gear stored safely inside, and someone that wants to go all out - exploring, still in luxury, with the good vibrant years they have left. There are many men and women like this, maybe 10%. But for those 10%, nothing that can do this is built for them, it just takes too much effort for companies, and it would cost more that 800k. For those types of the 10%, they "really" gravitate to this build, (on the point of being blown away) as all the others are just your standard RV layout. I and the other companies involved in this build love going all out, core, rugged, with a "can do anything" approach. This was that perfect build, with so very much time spent in it. These Jokers complaining about size and price are [ precisely ] the same jokers that would be, expeditiously, shitting bricks while driving through someplace similar to Juárez, Mexico - or tightroping a winding cliff trail at ultra-high altitudes. This vehicle is logically balanced to afford amenities that a Troop Carrier or Gladiator can’t, and go where most high-end mobile campers won’t. The safety of one’s life will sometimes entail a sobering compromise. I agree, but at the same time, I’ve seen so many 4x4 trucks (Unimog or larger) that don’t fit on the majority of trails. There’s a compromise somewhere between (price/size & comfort/off road ability) but it’s probably just a matter of preference and usage. 🤷‍♂️👍
