What did you do to extend the wires on the hvac?

I used the same gauge wire and spliced in about 6 or 7 inches. To make them longer.

Great video, thank you for making and posting. I purchased the kit but decided to install below the HVAC controls when I determine I would need to extend the wires on the controls. The functionality and visibility will be much improved with the head-unit on top, so I am eager to make it happen. Did you have to extend the vacuum hoses or just the electrical? Thanks again!
