ON a real note. I feel like I just had the best therapy session ever. Kudos to Colin for being so open about his experiences.

If Colin looks at the comments at all, I hope he's doing okay and would like to thank him for his thoughtful insights. This might be one of the most relatable and refreshing podcast interviews I've seen. I might be wrong, but I think you can tell Andrew was caught slightly off guard by Colin's candour, yet he handled the interview exceptionally well. It's important to learn the craft and skills to improve your work, but it may be even more important to learn how to cope with the lack of fulfilment or constant self-doubt that can arise when pursuing any type of art. Podcasts like these are all too rare.

Colin was one of the few artists and filmmakers that inspired me in my 3D art early on, and still is up to this day. When I saw "Suburban Plight," I was absolutely blown away! Thank you, Colin, for being so truthful and open about your life and experiences. This has inspired me to a whole new level. This has been one of the most enlightening podcasts I have ever watched/listened to in a long while, and one of the most worthwhile 2 hours I have ever spent. "Even if you end up not doing the thing that you want to do to pay the bills, maybe you found the thing that makes you happy." -Colin Levy, 2023

This podcast, specially this episode needs more recognition... I believe a huge bunch of pro artists in all mediums have gone through similar experiences, having Colin talking so openly about it gives one a feeling of validation and that we're not alone.

We are unfortunately our own worst enemy/critics most of the time. You seem like a wonderful person Colin - thank you for being so vulnerable! I also couldn't relate more with the education system here in the States. I remember in high school I'd have to wake up at 5:15 M-Fri just to catch the bus at 6am. It was such an exhausting time in my life, especially after sitting through classes all day and then expected to play sports, do homework, study, etc.

Colin and I are the same age but he's been an inspiration for me since I found his work close to 15 years ago. Its difficult to hear that someone you look up to is having a hard time in life other aspects, and its very humbling. And its wonderful that he knows what isnt working and is on the path of healing. Thank you for being so brutally honest Colin. And Andrew, you were the most wonderful host and friend to him, I admire tour genuine curiosity.

I really appreciate the openness and honesty throughout the episode. It’s always a bit scary to talk about these things, but it inspires others to do the same. This episode will definitely have a positive impact on those who listen, and the people around them. Thank you!

Wonderful Talk, and i love the app/phone recommendations! I just enabled greyscale but I'm having trouble finding how to make it toggle with a button on the homescreen... Currently its tipple pressing the on button *which I don't like because apple pay is two clicks*. Could you tell me how you went about this or point me in the right direction? Thanks!

What an incredibly interesting chat! Colin is so good at describing himself and his feelings and those situations he found himself in. Also sometimes I see some patterns in my work habits that could lead to some similar not so good behaviours towards myself. Glad Colin talked about it and now I can intervene early to not fall into that trap. Thank you both! 🫶
