The Gruden email situation still bothers me. There was absolutely no reason the content of his emails needed to be made public. He wasn't under investigation, the Redskins were.. I'm Black, and personally I didn't take offense to to anything Gruden said in those emails. Nothing was racist, misogynistic, or homophonic. IMO He was just mad and venting and throwing out insults towards everyone. It is possible for personal appearance insults to be face value. Just because Gruden is White making insults about a Black man's personal appearance, doesn't make it inherently racially motivated. If it were Black on Black insults, we'd just call it dissing and get some good laughs out it. But Gruden is being made out to be racist for doing what many of us as Black folks do towards one another all the time. And not defending Gruden per se. I'm defending fairness because if we're comfortable letting this happen to him, then we're also comfortable letting this happen to US!

Follow the trail ...I think Whitlock is probably the only one that has done this. His interview with Papa John Schnatter outlines the politics behind the mafioso silencing of any disruption to the NFL's power structure. Its like a Clinton body count trail of those that oppose The Shield and the lengths they'll go to always come out ahead. Gruden's recent arbitration loss is a testament to how Mickey Mouse / railroaded courts are to anyone not in the Cool Kids Club

The pattern I've noticed in 90 percent of these is....Whitlock says something negative about the person in public...regarding a situation that has nothing to do with him and then they respond. We all think things about others that aren't the most flattering...but going out of ur way to voice those things publicly...to me seems like a sign of trauma...and someone who's now recreating that trauma and finding comfort in it
