How dry is the underglaze before you start to chatter?

It is slip not underglaze. I usually chatter at the leather hard stage. Not too dry not too dry.

The most important thing is to dry my pots evenly. When placing the pots inside my studio if I don’t turn them around they will dry unevenly. Have you trimmed unevenly dried pots? it is very annoying!! My pots were protected in the plastic container from the turbulence (I consider it that way).
