Hi Alan and Sally. That was a lovely cruise with some interesting areas. Very busy through the Rose narrowboats area. I don’t think I’ve ever seen quite so many trains in one vlog before either 😂. I keep meaning to visit Hawkesbury junction, I’ll make a point of doing that in the spring 👍

It was a cruise Sally and I really enjoyed, a lot going on. Hawkesbury Junction is quite an interesting location, I’m going to say more about it in next week’s episode, it’s a nice spot to visit. The railway runs very close to the canal, as many lines do, hence the number of trains. All the best to you 🤠

We enjoyed this stretch of canal very much. I too am looking forward to reaching the Ashby. There’s a lot of history around Hawkesbury Junction to mention beforehand, but we’re getting ever closer. Thanks for commenting 🤠.

Very interesting thank you. The CRT needs to plant some trees on the site of those landslides. Once the trees get established the roots will tie the earth together and make the ground much more secure to prevent a repeat.

It´s nice to see you both with short sleeves on. I´m watching this ...21.11.2024 near Düsseldorf....with our central heating on full....yesterday we had heavy snow falls that made the town come to a standstill.....stay well and stay safe.

Hi Roger, I expect that's not uncommon is it, we too have had snow, in the Marina, unexpectedly on Tuesday, didn't last long but still very cold. Snow is though dotted about the country. Take care when going out.
