Purpose:
🔘 To improve Oculomotor Functions (Fixation)
(must maintain accurate eye control at all times)
🔘 To Improve Oculomotor Functions (Saccades)
(must shift gaze quickly and efficiently)
🔘 To improve Accommodative Relaxation
(must maintain a clear target at far)
Variations:
☑️ Eyes: one eye open at a time, second eye must be closed (patched) ➡️ both eyes open
☑️ Frequency: without a metronome ➡️ using a metronome, increasing frequency with progression of skill
☑️ Position: sitting down ➡️ standing up ➡️ marching in place ➡️ balancing on one foot
