@@rahuld2323 Sure! 😁👍 From my sources, saccades are rapid eye movements from one place to another, used when we read or look for something (Sangha). Proper saccades are a part of proper eye health - saccades are not a medical disorder, but the name of eye movements we perform, often unconsciously. An example is looking left-to-right as you read, and there are many other types of saccades as well (Foulsham). But in some cases, like a stroke or a problem with the brain, these movements become disrupted, which reduces the person’s ability to take in visual information. For example, if a person has trouble moving their eyes left to right (the saccadic movement) while reading, it makes it harder to read and absorb the information (Sangha). If saccadic movements are unable to be performed effectively, visual abilities can be reduced. But visual ability can be restored! Saccadic therapy can re-train better movements in the eyes, and thus improve visual abilities that need these movements (nvcadmin). This is like a rookie athlete with little control over their body who trains and becomes a pro athlete who controls their own body effectively. As their movements become more precise, they may gain agility and avoid excessive, unnecessary movements. It’s the same with training saccadic movements! After training saccadic movements, their eyes move more effectively than before therapy, which, like an athlete, results in better performance! I hope it helps! 😁👍 Sources: Sangha, www.familyeyecarecentre.com/articles/how-vision-therapy-can-improve-saccadic-eye-movements-and-help-reading-problems/ nvcadmin, ttps://novavision.com/why-you-should-consider-offering-saccadic-therapy-to-your-clients/ Foulsham, www.nature.com/articles/eye2014275

I wanted to cite my sources just to be safe - I'm not a professional, but I did some reading on saccades to learn about them. 🙂👍
