Seems like they're making a grado style. But $43. Planar magnetic. Modular cable. T tips. T tips are my favorite of all eartips of any brand. And grado sparkle just sings to me. Took hifigo forever to ship my pair, hopefully they'll be here in the next week.

Total curiosity I just had to purchase last night. Aliexpress is having a sale on this plus a coupon. By the sounds of the review this IEM sounds more akin to the first gen. planar IEMs (Tin Hifi P1). But the driver setup is more unique so I'll reserve judgment until I receive this. BTW Does anyone know if the detachable jack on the cable also works with the QKZ Q1 replacement jacks?

Hello thank you for the review. The rounded and concave shape that prevents having a good fit, for me it is a deal breaker. It's impossible to enjoy music with something popping out of your ears every 30 seconds. I have the same problem with the TinHifi P1 Max.

How is this in any way analytical sounding? It has quite a bit of bass bloat with a lot of treble so it should be more of a v shape.

Yup the nozzles are too shallow. My favourite AET07 ear tips mostly solves the problem. TRN still hasn’t gotten it right with the treble in these iems, again. They don’t sound harsh to me but they definitely sound artificial. 4.4mm improves the bass but the unnatural treble is a no no. What’s salvageable is the modular cable.

Super budget basshead IEM is KBEAR Rosefinch. Bought it yesterday for like $15. Its soundstage width is not much but in terms of tight bass, dynamics, oomph in notes, timbre, musicality. It is awesome. No harsh, thin, shrill or peaky treble but it doesn't sound dark either. Its better than my ZSN Pro, CCA CRA, TRN STM, Blon BL03 etc in terms of music enjoyment Haven't tried TRN's Rosefinch though

@@lordzed83 serious question. I'm new to this hobby and I want to buy my first budget planar iem. I was hoping someone can help me. This TRN is a budget one. Or should I extend my budget to s12 pro. I wonder how's the sound difference in sound quality.

@@aaronignacio4652 Well for me this one would be no go cause not enough of subbass/rolling off. there is no gear in existance where 40 bucks can match 140 bucks not in chifi theritory. Best cheap planar atm is KZ pr1 PRO thats like 60 bucks.
