I am currently renting this apartment in District 7 of Saigon for 10 Million VND per month. This works out at about $430 or £350 to rent an apartment in Ho Chi Minh City.
As you can see from the video, the apartment has a really nice swimming pool and gym and the view from my balcony is fantastic!
If you are looking to rent an apartment in Ho Chi Minh City, I would advise you to check out Facebook Marketplace. This is where I found my apartment in District 7 of Saigon.
There are loads of private real estate agents offering rentals in Ho Chi Minh city. You can find a nice apartment in Saigon for around 7 Million VND. There's plenty of apartments to choose from too so don't be so hasty when picking your place.

Holy Molly. $450 USD for a fully equipped 2-bedrooms apartment in District 7. That is a very ... very good deal. In addition to that the area is extremely nice, clean, and very convenient to everything. By the way, $90 for the monthly gym is also a good deal. You don't want to know how much I pay for my weekly gym in the US.

$90 for gym per month is ridiculous price tbh. Average gym here costs $15-20 per month. And as I saw in video (6:29) advertisement says 6 months for 2 mln VND (~$85).

Hi Marta, don't worry! You can find high end espresso machines here no problem. The one I bought was only about $70 but you can spend up to $5000 if you really want to. Plenty of places to buy high end good here in Saigon. Good luck with you move!

Disttict 1 is set up for tourists, District 2 is more of an expat enclave, D7 has lots of Korean expats. I would book a few nights in D1 and then keep your options open if you want to relocate after a few days. Good luck and enjoy your stay mate!
