can you really find a 2 br flat in UK for only twice that of VIet Nam? In most US cities the factor is closer to 4X & 5X these days, and I always assumed UK was at par or more expensive than much of the US.

You've got to be looking at a starting price of about £2k ($2400) for a two bedroom flat on the outskirts of London, if that helps Source: Rightmove
@livinginphuketthailand2 жыл бұрын
In Newcastle, my home town you can find a 2 bed place for around that price yes. I wouldn't be anywhere near the quality of my current apartment however. You're looking at £650 mininum for two bed unfurnished terraced house.

3 bed house where I live in South Wales starts at around £110 per week or around £95 per week for a 2 bed flat. But who wants to live in South Wales . I would say we need £250 a week or £1k a month just to cover rent and all bills /expenses and that’s without anything else like food , car or mobile etc

Based on scientific research from Norway and the USA, ideal sauna temperatures are around 80° C. Your sauna was 49° which is way too low. If 80° is too hot, best method is to start around 70° and inscrease the time and temp incrementally to around 80° and around 15-20 minutes, but not to overdo it if it's too difficult. There's plenty of superb analysis of the excellent health benefits of saunas on KZbin. If a hotel or house management doesn't maintain high temperatures for saunas it means they have no idea how hot saunas are meant to be. They do take a while to heat up though.

Hello Mike I have a job offer from a university in Vietnam, and I am now employed in Germany with a respectable wage. Even if the proposed income is lower than in Germany, when I look at the cost of living, I can clearly see that Vietnam is a lot more affordable place to live. Moving to Vietnam might enable me to increase my savings. Are you in accord with me?

Good video! Strangely enough I come up with a number very close to yours but not item wise. Less rent, more food, ins., etc. Only I'm calculating for 2. Doesn't effect rent & electric, more for food, transportation, clothes. Gym, entertainment, moot. We like to eat & wander. Booze, beer, wine at home; cheap. Very low rent in indigenous area, not much English, 5 fl. walk up, nothing near by, stores, transportation. None of think is a problem. Most foreigners NEVER get just how inexpensive one can live in Vietnam! I emphasize the word inexpensive, because it implies inferiority. I don't see it that way. Clean, well lit & secure. Works for us. Vietnam ❤👍🇻🇳🥢🏠🏝️
