The problem with the ed storyline it was so rushed. The writers needed to give aaron an exit and a gay romance. I guess ed was the rebound guy but the audience did not get to know him well enough.

I totally agree with this statement, not even Jackson or Flynn couldn't take Aaron moody attitude at times but Ed brushes it off like its nothing, if anything, it's like when Aaron gives off that attitude, it seems it make Ed falls for him even more, its like, Ed is loving Aaron for being Aaron and for me, that's beautiful when you have someone who like you for you, with flaws and all, you have someone there who like you no matter what. Ed is just a perfect guy to have as a boyfriend

Chemistry doesnt all have to do with kissing n hugging all willy nilly,its obvious that they have the hots for each other though Aaron acts indifferent.Ed has gotten under Aarons skin n Aaron seems not to be happy with their relationship being 'nothing serious'.They obviously like each other very very much.:-)

@MSMizfitOrton They have lesbians. Don´t think they are going to have a new gay boy. Aaron/Danny has set very high standards, the storyline has had an impact, and it would be difficult to replace that. Plus they want Aaron to return someday (the writers)

It's a possibility but I don't see the kinda potential in him as I saw with Danny ( Aaron ) I'm still holding on to hope that someday Danny will come back, even for an episode, he made a deep impact on Emmerdale.

I think their relationship is very realistic and its so clear to see they both really like each other.Aaron's little face as he was sat at the table aawww!!! and Ed staying around even though he senses Aaron is being standoffish with him is just very sweet to watch.Like someone else said chemistry is not about groping each other all the time

Ed is just way to adorable, what I wouldn't give to have a guy like Ed. If I was in Aaron shoes and he offer me a chance to come along with him in hopes of having something great with him, I would jump on the offer in a heartbeat, I wouldn't have to think about it. Go for it Aaron, you deserve your happiness and a life of your own, just the way Hazel explain to you before she left.

Personally I think it is being played just right the character of Aaron and the situation. Aaron has known Adam for years versus only being involved with Ed on a casual basis for two weeks. On top of that Aaron has been through the mill where relationships are concerned and hardly likely to throw himself whole heartedly in the first one since Jackson's death especially as he's aware that Ed is leaving and that it is pointless allowing himself to get too involved as he risks losing out again.

Actually, didn't Holly start doing drugs before all this went down with Cain and Moira! So technically she did "touch the stuff" before Cain ruined Adam's family! Man does Adam just grip things with his teeth and latch on to them! He's like Aaron in that respect! Once he decides to hate someone, or someone has wronged him in some way, he holds on and keeps getting worked up more and more until he ends up doing something completely stupid! Aaron and Adam are one in the same in that personality trait! Though sometimes one of them does have a right to hate that person and that person has wronged them in a bad way, like with Aaron and his father Gordon! And yeah I guess Adam is in a lot of pain now and lashing out at someone he believes led his family down the road to his father's death, even though that death was completely an accident! But before this it was Declan wasn't it, and Adam wasn't saying anything against Cain right after his father's death! I don't get what changed? Was it when Cain saved Holly's life? Is that when he got on Adam's radar? Because seriously, you would think that someone saving your sister's life would lessen your anger towards them, not increase it! Then again Adam hated Declan after John's death, even though Declan helped save Moira's life in that accident!

This storyline seems to be created to kill two birds with one stone: Give Danny something to do before he exits and also give the producers a chance to get their politically correct chores out of the way. It's embarrassing how the entire village of emmerdale is bending over backwards to make Ed welcome. How unreal. Stale bread at best.
